    As per their ToS

    Prohibited Usage
A list of prohibited content can be found below, which includes but not limited to the following:

Virtual currency mining (such as bitcoin, primecoin etc), except on plans with dedicated CPU

I haven't seen any dedicated CPU plan (afaik 100% dedicated != dedicated CPU), so no, you cannot mine on these

    I also have this question:

    100% dedicated ?= dedicated CPU

Out of 3vCPU you can use 1vCPU at 100%

I won't be sure about this, as their regular plan actually gives you fully dedicated cores while the BF/Easter offer only provides shared cores with usage limitations. Would love to see @hosthatch confirm though.

What can you mine with a single core 2.4GHz CPU anyway?

If you click the deal it tells the details, e.g. "2 CPU core (50% dedicated, burstable up to 200%)"

Yes I know that, and it's also mentioned on the deal post itself. However, those are more of a limit (e.g. you can use up to 100% of a single CPU core of the total 3 cores constantly) rather than a dedicated core assigned specifically to your VM. Since there are some providers also prohibits mining even if you run it under your allotment (e.g. Netcup), I thought it would be better to check with the provider first

    1. How many of the Polar Bear offers are still available in this Easter's offer?
    2. Customers who already purchased, may order again? (Or is this only for new customers?)
    3. Do you believe in the power of bunny?

Missed this deal, don't know if there is way to keep track of this threads. I was waiting for hosthatch deal like since 4 months.

Their sales are really unbeatable for the price. I probably would have bought more VPSes during these sales if I didn't already so many after their Black Friday sales.

    I totally understand you...

I think all up I spent over $700 with HostHatch during Black Friday. So far I don't think I've seen any other hosts offer VPSes with 16GB RAM for ~$60-70/year

I snagged a deal with GeorgeDataCenter with 16 GB RAM and 4 dedicated cores (xeon e5-2680 0) for $84/year. ~$14-$24 difference but with dedicated cores so it's well worth it.

Where did you get that to? Must have missed it somehow

Would like to know as well

It was a deal similar to this:

    https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/159969/netherland-vps-intel-xeon-e5-2670v2-02-dedicated-core-8gb-ram-50gb-ssd-7-00#latest

Only it had 4 "dedicated" cores, 16 GB RAM and 100 GB SSD storage - it was also located in the US instead of NL. It was on their BF deals page which is non-existent now. I was eyeing the $5/year with "dedicated" core but I was too slow to get it so I got this particular deal instead.

Ah, so it was an old BF deal :) I thought they offered sth on this easter

You don't miss anything, anyway. Crappy reliability on network, https://hetrixtools.com/report/uptime/2c890eef5fa33f36ec6482c92138f934/

Yes, seems no domain record is set. Additionally, these locations appear to have 1GBit/s connectivity only compared to 10GBit/s of most (or all) others, judging from bench's posted.

Yes Polar Bear offers are back on stock
Unfortunately we only managed to get them back last Thursday which was past the easter thats why I didnt advertise here since it was too late ( also we give few days head start to clients in waiting list to make sure they can order before we advertise )

And anyone can order as long as the limit per client is 3 orders of the same plan

All the BF and other special offers are here
    https://servarica.com/clients/store/special-group-2021

Also I posted new shared offers with mention of some of the other offers here

They adjusted the dates, after I asked. Once each of my servers were provisioned, I opened a ticket requesting the renewal date be changed to the anniversary of provision day.

  • my vps provisioned in minutes, but didn't get extra 20GB disk (biannually plan) yet.
