Cheap HDD VPS/Dedi for backups
Yeah there have been a lot of storage threads so far. I just need something for backups.
I have a main 4TB HDD running off a Raspberry Pi which all my PCs are connected to and share their files on. At night every week I am planning on backing up the content on that Raspberry Pi to a remote server just in case if anything happens and my home burns down or something. I'll be backing the data up with Duplicity, so it works with sftp, Drive, etc.
Currently I'm using 100GB~ (Compressed could be less). But I do plan on this to get a lot larger as time goes on, so a server that is expandable for cheap would be a requirement.
Are there any websites that can allow me to backup 100 - 1TB of data per week, expandable if I require later on (Max would be 4TB anyways since it's the max my Pi supports).
Location doesn't matter, CPU doesn't matter, RAM doesn't matter. Probably never going to access the files until I need them. (Also a decent network. Looking for the upload to only take max 6 hours for 1TB)
Cheapest offer I found is Google Drive so far with 2TB for $27.99 and then Kimsufi with 2TB for $29.00, but those amounts are just too much for what I require right now. Any lower, cheaper offers?

I just noticed Delimeter's storage VPS offer: https://cc.delimiter.com/cart/storagevps/ $21 / Quarterly for 500GB. Are there any offers cheaper than this? Is this service reliable?
@cociu and time4vps.eu
how much do you want to pay?
check https://zxhost.co.uk/ or http://www.hostsolutions.ro/
Was just looking at time4vps. seems like CAD$4.42/month for 1TB, damn that's cheap. Going to get it if I don't find any better offers. (Guessing it's the best one.)
Also for Hostsolutions, I've seen quite a few complaints for disk space shrinking and late refunds. I just don't think the language barrier would work either
Anything lower the better. No fancy specs, no backups, just need it to backup the data from my Pi once a week. It's gonna be done overnight automatically so time doesn't matter. Just don't have it take 6+ hours, otherwise it'd interfere with my network usage.
Currently the lowest offer is time4vps 1TB for $4.42/m
Come this weekend, I'll have bigvps online with a release offer of 5TB for $30. If you wait :P
Hubic 5e for 10TB and mount with hubicfuse on Raspberry Pi and sync files to backup daily to a mounted folder or whatever way you like.
How's the speeds on Hubic? Is it like 1Fichier where you can only download via web app?
100Mbits last time I checked. Both ways data transfer too.
Hubic have a limit of 10mbps
Within OVH's own network too?

Hello,
What do you think of a hosted NAS ?
Our first model is 2 TB for 16.63$/month
https://express.ikoula.com/en/dedicated-server#synology
Signed up with them but the system they use for FTP upload only is stupid.
So is the price :P 10$/year for "unlimited" (~30 TB). You get what you pay for :- )
It works out for me^^
I signed up too... It's 10euro though... Currently uploading my backup folders/files... Working excellent through ftp, other than my slow home internet... I'll admit rsync would be nice, but for this price it's perfect for what I need...
Thanks @Ympker for mentioning it in another post...
