FAQ

Q: Do you allow gameservers?
Because most gameservers generally attract (D)DoS attacks, we currently do not allow them on our network.
This also applies to voiceservers such as Teamspeak and Mumble.
Q: Can I run a VPN?
Private VPN servers are perfectly fine with us. Public ones, however, are not.
Q: What's your refund policy?
We do have a 30-day refund policy for your first service with us.
Q: What payment methods are accepted?
We accept payments via PayPal, BitPay, and 2Checkout.
Q: Do you have a test IP/file?
We do, but you will need to submit a ticket.
Q: Do you offer instant setup?
Only VikingLayer orders are instantly provisioned.
All other VPS platforms are manually provisioned by our staff within 12 hours,
assuming you past all initial screenings.
Please provide valid personal details and use your residential IP to order to prevent delays.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. Nobody will bite. :)

Have a good day,

drServer.net

I love your offers but one question what is the difference in the Farmer package and the Vagrant package? they seem to offer the same specs but the Vagrant package has a higher price.

Edit: ignore me, they are in different locations

Interested in one of their plans (see [1] ), but their TOS/AUP is just outrageously restrictive, for example:

"[Any user may not] Run stand-alone, unattended server-side processes at any point in time on the server. This includes any and all daemons, such as IRCD"

Riiiiiight... So no HTTPD? FTPD? Not to mention system daemons like crond, syslogd, etc.

I understand they want to protect their service, but this is just too much.

This should not be dramatized, they just don't want to be a DDoS source point or target. So they don't allow IRC, similar staff and it sounds reasonable to me.

On the bright side of things, it also implies "no systemd", yay! ;-P

Let me sum up the TOS:

    No illegal crap

    No CPU-intensive crap

    No DDoS magnets

    No abuse magnets(like Public VPN)

  • VallVall Member

    @Radi said:

You realize this also is way too open-ended, no? For example, a personal torrent client is allowed? What if I only download legal torrents?

But anyway, thanks for your answer.

    @Vall

Torrenting will abuse I/O. If you can limit it and you will download only legal torrents for private use, sure go ahead. Any DMCA received though will result in suspension.

Thanks again for your reply. Yes, I can limit both download speed and upload speed with the torrent hclient I use (bitflu). What would be the limits you require, for the 4 cores / 2GB RAM / 200GB disk XenStorage VPS you listed above?

and you will download only legal torrents for private use, sure go ahead. Any DMCA received though will result in suspension.

Thanks for your candor. This is acceptable, so now I only need to know about what limits to up/down speed in you require in torrents.

  • having database error issue in client area of drserver.

  • I'm interested in your 200GB XenStorage.
Just to double check, I need at least sshd, vpn, httpd, ftpd, rsync, git, nextcloud. maybe XMPP/jabberd in the future.

  • RadiRadi Host Rep, Veteran

@alkumaish Yes, it's all possible. VPN must be private though.
