So, you need a huge disk with no limits in I/O, a 1GB port and over 3TB of traffic for less than $2.5! Yeah, that's not going to happen...
Or rather it won't happen today. The Moore Law will probably let this happen, after 5-6 years.
And he needs managed service too
He does?
I have seen several similar offers. They are rare, of course, but they do exist.. (kidechire..)
sir
Low End VPS are also DDOS protected? and USA Location? can you share all TEST IP For all USA Locations?
Not for regular offers, but possible on super rare promotional or filler offers. Say, FlipHost's 1TB offer for $7/month, or drserver's 250GB for $15/year. Which the latter was posted on a request thread just like this.
Correct, but I dought that you can push 100GB in a day to DrServer's 15$ per year box (I have the offer and the bandwidth cap is at 500GB per month. And DrServer's offer is 150, not 250GB as far as I remember (mine is 150GB for 15$ yearly XEn with 768MB Ram).
As of fliphost, do you mean 1TB HDD or 1TB bandwidth? I have an old plan (they do not offer this anymore) with 100GB HDD and unlimited bandwidth, but the do cap bandwidth if the share-fair policy is not respected.
I have no issues providing him 200 gb for 30 USD per year, however 3 TB is way to much for that price. 500 gb traffic is more than reasonable for that price.
Yes, only 500GB bandwidth on drserver. First few offers was actually 250GB of disk space (I have one), then reduced to 150GB.
Fliphost's was 1TB HDD, 100mbit which should have no problem with 100GB transfer/day. IIRC only a few, maybe a couple of them were offered.
Maybe to friends, only. It is not a thing of HDD space (a lot of providers indeed have "fillers" and can do it), but a bandwidth issue. Traffic is expensive and if you add the ipv4, the price range of $2,5 is not just unrealistic, but impossible wihtout big loss IMHO.
I think that the best shot would be a cheap dedi from Online.net or OVH with 500GB single drive and unlimited bandwidth, but the price will be more of $5 per month. And it is a single drive with heavy use (100GB per day), so, I do not know how secure will this backup be withour raid10...
Kimsufi if you find storage server
thx for inputs, still looking. PS: i dont need managed service nor 1gbit. I may not use all announced data transfer.
As for 200GB, I guess @Steven_F has one of the most favourable offer at this time http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/43329/boltvm-is-back-new-jersey-los-angeles-specials
Thanks for the mention!
If you really need 200GB stogare and 100Gb daily data transfer take a look at @Jade_G last offer and be ready to spend $42 annually.
We offer a storage only plan, 200GB for $4/month. add upto 50TB with our pay-use pricing
Use: NFSFREESETUP for our best prices.
o I missed the BoltVM offer. They are good.
This is also very near: https://www.evobilling.com/cart.php?gid=11 (OUT OF STOCK!)
This one is close to your budget: http://misterhost.net/cart.php?a=add&pid=55
Does it need to be VPS? If only for storage media fire could suit your needs. But when you need VPS then, good luck with your budget.
@postcd Just ask @AutoSnipe - he might have room on another server for a storage plan
@AutoSnipe are you have some offer?
Looking for something similar. 3-400GB space, 1CPU, 1GB RAM, unmetered 100mb connection or better. 1 IPv4. UbuntuOS.
I'm ok with spending more per month for this than $2.50.
Try vultr.com.
With their gifts (including blackmonday gift), only pay USD 4,50/month (average for 9 months) for 1GB RAM, 320GB HDD and 2TB BW.
Our 250GB storage vps is $3.50 with HELLADEALSTORAGE
