[Search] Windows VPS any country, no license needed
Hi.
Searching for lowend VPS to install Windows (XP, 7, 8, Server 2003, Server 2008 - any).
Specs:
1 CPU core
512 mb RAM
10 GB HDD
10 mbps bandwidth / 100 GB traffic
License not needed (VNC or KVM to install manually would be fine). Any country.
Any suggestions?

$5 with BYOL (france)
Anything KVM with Custom ISO or a ISO already available would work.
I personally use Winity (Aff) even with them including a liscence its still cheap.
You could try list.lowendserv.net and search for KVM boxes.
Misterhost.net offers 512ram with 10gb disk for $39 year. 2 windows os available to choose. I have one in france and i use the trial license for 90 days.

My Custom Hosting (Canada). @MCHPhil offers KVM 512MB RAM for $18/y. But as for Windows, you have to order at least 1GB RAM plan ($44/y) to my knowledge.
Take a look at https://www.runabove.com too.
We only allow retail licensing for windows server platforms.

512MB RAM Windows Server 2003 VPS from $4.5/month (With LET coupon)
I'm looking for this too. Please keep the offers coming. Prefer server 2003 or custom ISO with byol
BYOL is a sketchy thing, I can offer a windows vps from £5 and will install any OS you can provide. But I will need to enter the licence myself, or I can provide one for a fee.
and why would anyone trust you to do that? you could steal the key for yourself (not saying you would though)
That's very true, but the same could be said for your data. I would rather loose a customer then get slapped by Microsoft/OVH
And if one prefer trial license?
We don't allow this, sorry. Our DC scan for unlicensed windows and charge us.
We can provide a windows licence for only £5/m
I don't plan to use you, just ask. I don't need licence and state that clearly.
Thats fine, but I cant answer on behalf of other hosts. Generally speaking, if they are found to be hosting many unlicensed copys of windows, then they will get shutdown.
You may want to use your own legit licence, but that does not mean that all their customers are as law abiding, as the hosts are shared it only takes one abuser to take it down.
In my experience
i doubt this. mainly because am sure it would breach privacy rights. and scanning machines/ ports is a bad area.
care to name this DC? if it's OVH am sure you are taking nonsense.
Proof that OVH does this? First time i ever heard this, also very questionably with EU privacy laws.
I thought that's what this meant "You need to activate licencing for Windows virtual machines in the Control Panel, per Dedicated Cloud datacentre. Billing will be based on either the number of hosts running the Windows virtual machines or the number of virtual machines, depending on which option is the most cost-effective."
Could be wrong though.
Vultr
Isn't vultr OpenVZ? How do you run windows there?
VULTR use KVM virtualization.
qemu in openvz
I was trying do that. Windows setup was freezed at start (blackscreen or something like that). I thought that it's just not possible to install Windows on QEMU in OpenVZ. As there are less ways to debug that - i'm just get that as fact..
Various OS no license needed Unmetered Traffic

And I thought I was expensive...
Oh it's possible, very very very... Very slow.
Oh yeah why not go with GoodHosting? They have good yearly deals which allow windows installs.
runabove.com!

http://infobox.ru/vps/windows/ - Why not? Probably cheapest
