Looking for a VPS for a self hosted website monitoring service.

Hi,
I would like to know if a VPS (regardless of its virtualization) is available for only between $0.99-$2.00? I am just going to use it to monitor my other sites. Probably, I will install Nagios or these tools http://www.servermom.org/free-self-hosted-server-monitoring-tools/1824/
Thanks.

Hi,
Would you mind paying annually?
atlantic.net offer a VPS for $0.99/mo
what kind of specs does Nagios require though?
How many hosts/services do you intend on monitoring?
Of course, but please at a discounted price.
I've tried this one, they are a bit unstable though.
I don't know about the specs requirement.
I have 2-3 sites that I would like to monitor.
Unstable how exactly?
I've got a nagios server set up at work monitoring a bunch of stuff. Haven't seen any issues with it.
I've been doing some testing to see if I want to use nagios or icinga on a 128MB box and so far I haven't seen a real increase in load, but it's also a test environment, not production, so a nagios server will hundreds of alerts or checks might run differently.

128MB SVZ 128 / 64 MB 1 Core 1 /64 12 GB 500 GB $15 / yr
That will work great with https://github.com/munroenet/serverstatus.
This used to be my setup for ServerStatus.
^ Oh if 128MB RAM will work, definitely go for Ramnode
you can get Crissic's 256MB plan for $10/year.
in Spain?
Their server just randomly goes down. I'm monitoring it through Uptime Robot before.
Thanks for the offer, but still expensive for me.> @hostnoob said:
I used to be with them.
I currently have a site hosted there, but I can't get
the monitoring service hosted in the same provider.
It just doesn't make sense lol.
I use my ginernet 512mb yearly VPS for observium and it runs well, stable network but CPU isn't the best at times.
How much?
15 euros a year I think, http://lowendbox.com/blog/ginernet-openvz-vps-in-alicante-spain-starting-at-18-77year-for-512mb/
Shared IPs?
Why don't you use a hosted monitoring service like pingdom/statuscake which will monitor the website for free. Self hosted monitoring makes sense only when you have a large number of servers to be monitored or when you are monitoring something complex, which is not possible on pingdom etc
