Why is the 128MB cheaper than the 64MB?
Edit: you typed the price wrong, 64MB is £8
Hostnoob, if you signed up you will have got a great deal.
The offer was posted before the current running discount had been removed. You'd of therefore been able to stack discounts and got the 64mb for 3.36 pounds.
OK, I'll bite on the 4GB offer for a month and see how it rolls.
I had the OVM - 256B £6/quarter, and I can say that the service is fast and stable. I also found the tech support, James, very helpful.
The service stopped when I failed to pay the invoice when I was hospitalized and I didn't contact them to get the good deal back
All I can say, they have a good service.
But Network Speed in the UK is very low.
@httpzoom your order page has duplicate of every line, at least from Firefox.
I'm actually considering the 4GB plan for a local box with a GUI though.
@MorningIris if you can email our [email protected] department they can help further.
@hostnoob, the incorrect pricing was only on 64 / 128mb for a period of about 5 mins.
Used @HTTPZOOM a year ago, can't say I can fault their service really, never had any issues.
That doesn't fall in with the guidelines for dedicated server pricing on LowEndTalk:
Also, you can't have people email you to get a server:
@ub3rstar
As its an addon to the thread it is allowed.
The offer itself is well below LET allowances etc.
Thanks for your comments though!
@httpzoom is the vSwap Ram 4GB or none?
Can you confirm?
Hey There,
The Ram is set to 4000mb ram and burstable / swap to the same level.
This means there is no swap above the standard ram.
6 Pounds doesn't seem to fit under $7, I'm afraid.
@Mahfuz_SS_EHL you'll need to re-read the offer.
Oh, It just got messed UP. I had to go through checkout to check the actual thing. It's 2.52 GBP. I thought it's 6 Pounds after 2.50 Pounds discount :-P Sorry, Mate.
I think the offers have excellent prices. My only complaint is I need to calculate because I am more familiar with USD.
Here is a benchmark for the UK Node:
CPU model : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5540 @ 2.53GHz

Total amount of ram : 254 MB
Total amount of swap : 258 MB
System uptime : 39 days, 11:30,
Download speed from CacheFly: 8.21MB/s
Download speed from Coloat, Atlanta GA: 238KB/s
Download speed from Softlayer, Dallas, TX: 259KB/s
Download speed from Linode, Tokyo, JP: 152KB/s

Should be much faster than this.
You may want to contact support.
I did... got a new IP, was moved to another node... but still too slow.
Foetti,
If the product isn't suitable we offer refunds which you would need to contact our sales / billing team in regards to.
I am still hoping you can fix this.

Hmm, those disk speeds seem quite decent compared to my previous experience with you guys. I may give this a shot again.
I have 1 VPS with HTTPZoom for a half a year and had another VPS a year ago. No problems whatsoever, stable network and fast VPSes.
@httpzoom do you offer IPv6? There is one as a test IP but I can't see any on my VPS.
I'm interested in 256Mb RAM package
@valdikSS apologies we missed this. We provide ipv6 on request.
