LINX down :-(
https://www.linx.net/pubtools/trafficstats.html?stats=day
Major pain for us all in the UK
Comments
The website does not load, what is it?
London Internet Exchange.
FYI, parts of it still run.
Loading here normally, and showing normal traffic patterns...
Yeah, I don't think it's totally down. We're talking to our network provider and they say something flooded LINX and more or less overloaded every switch connected to it.
I'm sorry Robert
There's a massive drop off on the edge of the daily graph
Yes, check it here if you can't reach there site:
According to VPS.net they lost over 300Gbps of traffic
@DanielM Holy - shiz.
@DanielM 300Gbps ? So what, they (vps.net) had 30x 10Gbps ports to Linx?
@rds100 Oh they did? well 300gbps seems like a lot to me :P
@Corey yes, it seems unrealistic to me.
@DanielM if lynx as a whole lost 300Gbps - this sounds reasonable. The original statement sounded like vps.net lost 300Gbps which is... very unrealistic
It was LINX https://www.linx.net/pubtools/trafficstats.html
Is this why I've been having internet issues all day?
Yes, would be having a HUGE factor with UK routing and traffic
LINX being down is affecting my routes to rest of Europe. Seems my connections are now going through a slower route.
We lost our London Telehouse rack for quite a while, both internet connectivity and a Layer 2 100mb link up to our other DC. Made for a busy afternoon in the office
(we're not a hosting company btw!)
