Hi,
Is this for hitleap or jingling ?
Could be gscraper or a few others too.
@drserver this is for GSA ser nothing else.
I guess we were wrong, it's GSA Ranker instead.
@Tranza You can go with 512 mb ram, on windows 2003. It will fly
Windows Server 2003 R2 will happily run in even 64 MB of RAM (we've been trying to minimize our JingLing optimized images as much as possible, the base kernel+"services" footprint is only 19MB now.)
That being said, GSA Search Engine Ranker itself takes at least 1GB of RAM, as it's often coupled with a CaptchaSniper or some related captcha auto-solving service, and also often linked with a service that registers a bunch of bogus outlook addresses.
Basically, it's a bad program to try and support; be careful.
@GoodHosting
Thank you, GSA software after further examination looks at least fishy, For example email harvester. As for now, any GSA software is forbidden on our servers. I dont wish to support company who lives from email harvesting (which will be used for spamming).
Yup, just figured I'd warn a fellow provider about that one. I'll gladly take clients that use JingLing (as @serverian himself said it only browses sites), but definitely not something like GSA. We've had clients run it before, and well; they're not clients anymore, especially not after Microsoft's "go away" emails about Outlook.
Speaking as an SEO/IM rather than someone who manages servers etc. You want to be darn sure you understand what software your catering to and or offering plans for.
Most of it can be harmless but there are certain nasty ones that can be used for scraping, abuse, spam and fraud.
@goodhosting
GSA SER is a SEO tool like every single one out there, it depends on how the user use it. You can pair it up with whatever email provider you wish, it just create backlinks like every single SEO tools does.. I dont and never will spam mail box.
Just leave that to email marketers

@Bayu the launch coupon doesnt work, which other is available?
@Tranza coupon doesn't work anymore I don't think.
