VPS in East or SE Asia
Hi,
I was looking for a VPS located in East Asia or SE Asia with the following specs or better:
-1 cpu core
-65GB HDD
-512mb RAM
-500GB bandwidth
-linux
It's mostly for storage so nothing fancy needed. Unfortunately most of the plans I'm coming across are located in the US or EU.
Thanks

vultr (tokyo)?
Vultr Tokyo has excellent speed to my location but their 65GB plan is pretty pricey and has a low amount of bandwidth:
$35/month for:
2 CPU
65GB storage
400 GB transfer
I think EDIS gives a better deal in HK for:
19.49 Euros/month:
2GB RAM
100GB HDD
2.5TB traffic
but even then, I feel I'm paying extra for stuff I don't exactly need (aka extra RAM, very high amount of bandwidth etc)
Try our Japan location:
2 CPU
1GB RAM
100GB HDD
100Mbps Bandwidth
Unmetered Traffic
1 IPv4
$18.80 /month

Do you have a test file I can try downloading from your Japan and South Korea servers? I want to see the transfer speed to my location.
Thanks
You can try SimplerCloud or DigitalOcean...
They are a little lacking in the disc but no ones stopping you from getting 3 VPSes ^^

You can look at our plans

200GB = 864jpy/month
Had been using there service for storage and never got problems.
That definitely looks promising. Any test files on their website? My non-existent Japanese skills are failing me
For some reason I'm getting slower than optimal speeds from your test files. Must be something to do with my ISP Thanks though!
@pacman99, PM me the traceroute. thanks!
Ask EDIS if they could do a custom deal? They are awesome
Have you looked into object storage solutions such as AWS S3, Azure and Rackspace Cloud Files?
You guys just need more bandwidth with your offers now
