Looking for cheap dedicated
Hello
I'm searching for a cheap dedicated server, with:
- 2+G RAM
- 4+ logical cores
- 2xHDD (software raid is fine, 100+GB) OR san exported disk
- unmetered 100mbit (accettabile if after some TB will be capped to 10mbit)
- 1 IPv4; 1+ IPv6 is appreciated but not mandatory
- Budget: <=15€/mo
So something like a kimsufi but with two HDD or however disk space on raid.
Someone know a low offer with this specs?
Thanks a lot.

Thanks but is too much expensive; here I found a 23$ server: http://www.sakuraserver.com/bestvalue-server.html
However I' searching for a cheaper one (<=15€/mo, 10€/mo will be appreciated ).
Not anymore, you need a SoYouStart server that cost at least 35€/mo.
I've read that OVH dropped the idea of raid in kimsufi.
Delimiter?
It's unfortunate kimsufis can no longer be transferred. I have a 4 cores with 2x1TB disks for 17€/month that I'm letting expire.
What's that?
Sad face.
I hope that but until they change idea I'll search for an alternative.
@MarkTurner
Hetzner?

Edit: sorry, just saw what price you were looking for. I had 30Eur in my head for some reason
Thanks anyways.
How long does that take usually?
There's no 'usual". They do seems to be offloading all the old servers right now though, so there's a reasonable chance you'll see new offers based on newer kit (potentially in different configs) sometime in the next few months.
I've updated the request, just to include san/iscsi exported hdd.
Maybe @rds100 has something.
@raindog308 nope, we don't have anything for less than 15 EUR/month, and we don't do unmetered ports.
Thanks anyways.
You could try with two single disk kimsufis and DRBD them. The 100 Mbps ethernet might be a bottleneck for this, but it can work, if you don't have a too big fetish for benchmarks.
I didn't know this solution. I don't think that suits my needs (at least not this time) but very thanks for teaching me something new.
I plan to use the server to build a web stack using openvz containers as building blocks (www, php, mysql). So i prefer to avoid a bottleneck generator.
you can get volumedrive x2 athlon @$20/mo and just pay a one-time fee of $15 for an extra 250Gb drive. you can add up to 4 drives and option for hardware RAID.
-They do get small packet loss here and there.

or.. maybe a bit over your budget but you can consider @ $25/mo

There is also Digicube.. it's 14,40 € /mo if you prepay for a year.. otherwise it's 18 € /mo
-you need to send them snail mail before they can terminate your account.

Minimum 2 cores plus hyperthreading or 4 cores.
I wrote to digicube to ask a custom plan.
Thank you.
I'm sure you may have a special requirement asking for the cores.. just pointing out the CPUmark for the Athlon far surpasses the N2800 or E350
There is also firstheberg, believe the D525 has HT but no way to pick the CPU type. Not sure if they have English support but maybe you can inquire? anyways it's for you to consider.

--edit--
Seems ipv6 is not yet available..
I should update the first post; IPv6 is appreciated but not mandatory. I use an he.net tunnel.
Thank you for the link, I'll look it.
