As part of our commitment to transparency, here's who we really are:
GoodHosting.co is owned by Albino Geek Services Ltd. Owned and Operating out of Beautiful British Columbia Incorporated April 27, 2012 01:39 PM Pacific Time BUSINESS NUMBER: 815062880BC0001 INCORPORATION NUMBER: BC0939191
We challenge other providers to show this level of legitimacy as a bare minimum.
[1] At this time, we do not provide licensing for Microsoft Windows Server products. You are free to use the Evaluation license provided with the initial installation, which is valid for 180 days and subject to terms Microsoft places on the legitimate use thereof. Students and developers may be able to obtain free or inexpensive licenses from their network.
[2] Storage is backed by a Hardware RAID10 using LSI MegaRAID 9271 cards, with CacheVault. We use ultra-fast RAM-Caching techniques to ensure that your regular I/O operations are blazing fast [much faster than SSDs !!] We have recently changed our policy on disk usage. The "40GB" as stated in the package is now additional space to the size of the OS drive, whereas before it was the total space [including OS.]
Please note that deployments are handled manually, your VPS could take up to one hour to be initially provisioned, from which point; you can use the provided SunStone management panel to re-create your VPS at any time, even change your OS or resources completely. This manual deployment system is in place to protect both our company / existing customers, as well as you (the future customer) from abuse and fraud.

Good on you to be running something different. Any screenshots of the panel?
Yup, we have posted a wonderful "Getting Started" guide on a community we sponsor:
OpenNebula SunStone 101 | FreeVPS
@GoodHosting seen your offer after a long time. You are finally back.
That's really slick.
We never left; just had far too large an influx from our first offer, had to let things settle down a little bit while we managed our back-log from manual deployments. We're all good now and ready to accept new clients!
Thanks. I love it, although it was a b**** to set up working the way I wanted it, especially with RAM caching across all the virtual machines, SSD level-2 caching and RAID10 storage on the backend. It's amazing how difficult that is to get working in CentOS due to how archaically old the packages are...
Is this all manually deployed?
There are "Templates" and "Images" [ images which can be either ISO/CDROM in type, or images of pre-installed disks with an Operating System already on them. ] So not all systems are manual installation, and we've set up networking to allow automatic IP assignment [DHCP] as well as BOOTP and a few other things for kickstart/seeded install.
The users however are not created automatically in SunStone, we do that step manually.
Sounds great. I'll stop cluttering up your thread with questions now. Sorry!
And so nobody feels the need to "test" coughabusecough the I/O just for a benchmark...
RAM-caching is king. Optimized for real workloads, not silly benchmarks.
Looks really cool sir,
But I have a software which takes too much cpu, Will you alllow that ?
That panel looks very interesting and some tempting offers.
If you have the Ci5 plan for example, with 100 CPU units; you can use 100% of your one core 24/7. This is allowed.
I'm looking to move my master server somewhere else due to disk and network IO issues. The offer looks nice, but I have a couple of questions:
In your AUP, it talks about "Excess resource usage" that includes CPU and RAM usage. Can we use all of the CPU allocated? And can you define a "CPU Unit"?
Will the coupon transfer over the lifetime of the service?
And I cannot find your explicit SLA. The link on the site brings me to http://goodhosting.co/terms.htm.
Exactly, Please define a CPU unit.
Windows server 2012 r2 possible?
Nvm.
Hello @Silvenga,
I do apologize about the sheer vagueness of our Terms of Service as it is now, to be honest; those are the terms that were vetted by our Lawyers when we registered the company [ Albino Geek Services Ltd. ] , and we have used those terms ever since. However, we have never once had to rely on them in a matter such as SLA or AUP, [ albeit, please head the refund policy. It is in plain English and is also visible when working with our PayPal account, [ such as when in the claims section, or viewing our company details, an excerpt of our terms is shown on those pages. ] ]
When we release our Frequently Asked Questions / Knowledgebase , it will contain such documents including a "Acceptable Use in Plain English" and "Service Level Agreement in Plain English". However, as this is not ready yet, let me state the following, which I will now upload to a document on our site for official reference as well, should you need to reference it in the future:
http://www.goodhosting.co/permanent-link/terms-in-plain-english
All terms will be listed on this page, in Plain English; rather soon.
1 CPU unit = 1/100th of a CPU thread. 100 CPU units == 1 "core" as per SolusVM terminology. If your plan has 100 CPU units, you can use 100% of your one "core" 24/7 if you'd like [you are allowed to], although we'd prefer you don't [haha].
Therefore, 200 CPU units == 2 cores, etcetera.
Yes, we are currently creating a template for this, but have the ISO already up there if you want to install the OS yourself, or open a ticket and we can install it as you describe [ partitioning, packages, etc.]
Very tempted by this deal, though it seems to good to be true. I spent part of last night looking for info on Goodhosting.co but few seem to talk online about their services / performance of their servers.
Why not just try one then? Come on LiveChat and I can set you up with a trial.
Cheers, I'll see if you are about.
Now offering the following specific editions of WIndows per request:
Do you still offer the Wildcard Certificates from One Hop?
Nope.
Oh, just noticed the DC change to Hostdime. Oh well.
is there a test file ? @GoodHosting
HostDime has test files, we don't have one hosted just yet.

Choose Orlando from the dropdown.
I am gonna PM you about the bulk order now.
Being deemed fraud by Maxmind due to using weloveservers IP as VPN during ordering. Try to reorder without VPN, but still the same error.
Really frustated as in need of Windows VPS, and the offer is quite good.
Hello Faizi, please open a Support Ticket with the order going through your legitimate connection and I'll see what is flagging it. We don't accept orders from VPNs and Proxies due to their high fraud rate from our experience.
Not needed. The order got through this time.
"Service ID # 562 was just auto provisioned."
Thanks.
