Malaysia is not the lowest in average but it is quite slow =(
Here's the US's average,
I made a post awhile back about the US's: http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/13328/america-s-internet-speeds-continental-usa
If I am not wrong India has an avg. speed of about 1.3Mbps
You should be able to get good data here:

indonesia, averange 3.99 mbps, I don't believe that
0.5mbps-1mbps

In spite of having lower density population and much lower prices :P
Off-topic I know, but if we are talking about Romania
http://www.four-paws.org/nokilling
Tell that to the dogs They started the war, killing kids and even a japanese citizen some few years back (http://www.enn.com/top_stories/article/3582). Unlike in other countries, romanians dont have to worry about gangsters and weapons, but dogs are a serious problem. People leave kids to play alone outside since romania is a safe country, but lately dogs are taking a toll and when a few kids were killed, it was the time to stop procrastinating.
The dogs havent started a thing but were actually the very first victims by being kicked out, abandoned and mistreated by humans (
I lived in that part of the world and can personally say that I have never experienced any danger whatsoever coming from dogs, unlike the threats from humans.

There were not 1100 attacks from humans in the whole country in 4 months, let alone in Bucharest. I dont know where you were, but probably not in Romania. For example Italy has 3 times more assaults per capita than Romania.
Those are just propaganda wars we are used to lose so dont bother with anymore, facts prove otherwise, but who bothers with them, it involves a few clicks and few keys pressed, it is easier to spread hate, more followers, more money, more wars, more money.
Again, if the dogs wouldnt have been abandoned and mistreated in the first place there wouldnt the problem to begin with.
As far as such "statistics" are concerned I am afraid to say the Romanian authorities would be the least to trust on such numbers. They will come up with anything to support their killings. And also dont forget the numbers of cruelties towards dogs. Only a few days ago someone set a dog on fire - alive!
Anyhow, this discussion is rather off-topic and I would like to stop here and apologise to the OP for slightly derailing his thread.
This is typical, you start the attacks and then, when facts prove you wrong, you want to stop the hate job was done here, time to move on. It does not work that way.
Dogs were indeed abandoned in very harsh conditions when people were kicked out of their homes and many people starving (we have a saying here, with my little bit of bread i fed a man and a dog), you dont know how it was, but how would they multiply so much if there was no food and nobody cared for them? There is cruelty as anywhere else, perhaps less given the number of beligerants on the dogs side, I have never been bitten (almost anyone else I know has been), but attacked multiple times, just for passing by. I know how to defend myself but others don't can't, such as kids, old people, even ordinary people which lose it when they see themselves surrounded by 5+ dogs. The vote was clear, people want to solve the problem, you can always come and take a few dogs off the street, nobody stops you and many people did this here, but 100k is not possible. Those stats are from hospitals and can always be verified.
There were no attacks whatsoever from my side. I simply posted a link for a petition. And feel invited to take a look at the pictures (
Again, I lived in these parts of the world and have NEVER experienced any agression whatsoever from dogs but I DID experience threats from humans.
While this problem is very typical for Eastern Europe in general (for some reason other parts of the world dont have this problem), Romania took it to an extreme. I still remember when they threw dogs from roofs (back in the days when the current Romanian president was Bucharest's mayor).
Please feel free to contact me in private if you wish to continue this discussion.
I only say that is a bunch of lies and nobody stops you to come and take a few dogs to your country. The vague amendment to this is that there is some cruelty, probably less than in other areas, though. You are free to take the discussion in private as you should have done int he first place if you wanted to know the truth and not only spread propaganda. Show me some real news, not photoshopped tweets and I will prove you with facts and stats those are exceptions.

Maybe you should campaign more in US where there are not so many dogs on the streets because those caught are killed if not adopted in time SAME as here even though they are much richer and could sustain a lot more dogs for a lot less effort than here, but they do it for a long time and it is perfectly fine. But, yeah, romania is an easy target, much easier to show the barbarians there slaughtering dogs, everyone knows that is true, they slaughter each other in the streets all day, there is a propaganda war for decades, they have no choice and will have to obey our demands, nobody will bother to check for the truth.
Have you campaigned for the release of the guy on death row for 30 years for a crime he didnt commit?
http://www.cbsnews.com/news/louisiana-death-row-inmate-glenn-ford-ordered-released-after-30-years/
Or against death sentencing? Against war? For peace?
No? Why? Dogs are more worthy? Or Romania is an easier target to spread hate against?
To be exact, I havent started this discussion. I am not sure how your US bashing is related to the case at hand but I do condemn cruelty regardless of where it is taking place.
More lies:
There is no US bashing, but since romania is to be condemned as barbarian because it STARTED to kill the dogs which are not adopted in 14 days, SAME as other countries do for ages, then you should start your war first against those that are doing it for much longer, that is what any unbiased person will do. I also gave a few examples (in the order they appeared in my search in duckduckgo and added a few from another search of real news not photoshopped tweets with an agenda) which many happen to be from US, but I didnt pick them, duckduckgo did. I also tried to prove that human lives are less important for the so-called animal rights activists, than a dog's life, an animal without self-awareness and consciousness. You could spend your energy fighting for peace, raising funds for starving kids, helping your elderly neighbours and stop attacking countries just because others do it spreading hate for decades.
The UK varies quite wildly with City speeds typically being >100mbps whilst a number of small towns and cities are still on ADSL peaking at 24mbps and yet many rural towns and villages are still only around 1-2mbps.
Most of the UK now has better speeds via 4G etc than home broadband.
You know, that is exactly my thinking, it is only a matter of time before wireless will replace wired due to lower costs and convenience, we are coming to that point fast, unless you need really low latency and 1 gbps port, there is no point in Bucharest to get a fixed line, even 3G is doing 3-4 mbps outside of town, inside 3-4 MB/s are easily achievable.
In EU:

We have a Romanian rescue dog, we have seen pictures of the conditions she was kept in, its amazing how lovely she is to humans.
