Limit CPU / RAM per cpanel user?
Hi guys,
Im on an OpenVZ VPS and would like to know how to limit CPU/RAM allocation for users. When i had KVM, i used to be able to control that via cloudlinux.
I dont want the server shutting down because of a client abusing resources etc...
But is there an alternative perhaps?
Thanks!

Well, you could stop being cheap and not use an oversold VPS to provide hosting to your clients?
http://docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/AllDocumentation/WHMDocs/MemoryUsage
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/core.html#rlimitcpu
Just because its openvz doesnt mean its oversold
Thanks. Will have a look at this...
This is the provider that offers openvz hosting and discontined his KVM company.
Ok then.
Haha well almost nobody from LowEndTalk/Box uses ShoveHost openvz because "it's too expensive" so yes, I'm going to assume that anybody who posts here uses some garbage oversold provider.
Lol
Cheap isnt always mean bad
i have 8 too cheap vps that i purchase from let and most of them has 99%++ uptime
Price doesn't dictate quality, if you think your service is good because it's higher price then others then you're wrong.
Anyone who believes in low price meaning crap quality/service should just leave (or you're buying from all the wrong "new" companies) because there is a good batch of providers for ~$7/mo.
