[ask] how to assign online.net ip failover into KVM
I just bought a dedi from online.net lucky me, i'm order their E3 1230 v2, but i'm suprised that they give me E3-1240 V2
the dedi was installed with proxmox.. i have issue when trying assigning ip address to a VM their wiki not too much usefull for me. and their support is well known slow on respons, my ticket has been 2 days without single respon from them -.-
here is network conf from the node:
iface lo inet loopback iface eth0 inet manual auto vmbr0 iface vmbr0 inet static address 62.210.139.x netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 62.210.139.1 bridge_ports eth0 bridge_stp off bridge_fd 0 post-up route add 212.83.155.x/32 dev vmbr0
config on the VM
ifconfig eth0 212.83.155.x netmask 255.255.255.255 route add 62.210.139.x dev eth0 route add default gw 62.210.139.x
and still....the ip still not properly assigned to the VM... am i missing something in the configuration?
thanks for your help.

i'm confused reading their doc..
btw, that the meaning of this word "ip-principale-de-votre-serveur.1"?
"ip-principale-de-votre-serveur.1" = your main server IP
But I think you have to enter 62.210.139.1 as the vms are in bridge mode
i got it..!
problem resolved..
thanks for your help @MuZo and @jmginer
