VPS Required - Decisions Decisions!
Hi
After having a really bad experience with my previous host 64u.com (read about it all here: webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1332299) who have done a runner I'm after a reliable VPS EU based.
I've been searching high and low and narrowed somewhat my shortlist to include 1) Ramnode 2) Prometeus/Xenpower 3) Xensmart 4) Iniz and lastly 5) HostHatch - I'm open to additional choices.
Xen or OpenVZ, I believe from my understanding and correct me if I'm wrong OpenVZ is far easier to oversell, I wouldn't mind that much as long as the host has a good track keeping everything running smoothly as possible.
What I'm looking for (ballpark):
4GB RAM, 100+ GB SSD (150 GB regular disk space), 2 IPs, 300 GB Bandwidth (plenty for now), 2-4 Cores preferred.
I have my own cPanel license so an unmanaged solution is perfect.
Bit apprehensive with picking a provider as you can imagine with my recent experience.
I'm torn between who to go with so any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks everyone!

Why not choose LET's Exclusive "more bang for your buck" provider?

When did you start providing a EU location or can you read the OPs request before hand
"EU based", I see that as great connectivity to EU and Buffalo does it.
Thats bullshit and you know it. Alone the latency causes noticeable difference between EU and US and the missing peering (and mainly Telia upstream, which is a non-peering Tier1) are other points.
I could start on bgp routes now and the general EU<->US backbone capacity as well as Telias weird routing sometimes but that would be just oil in the fire for an obvious answer.
That has to be one of the most absurd things I've ever read in my life.
I've had good experiences with RamNode, and I've heard Prometeus are really good too. I don't think there are any deals for either of them going on now, though.
I would go with XenPower. A cheaper route is with OverZold (another brand of Prometeus) or OpenVZ.io (a brand of Iniz), that is if the disk space suits you. RamNode is good too, but pricings on the higher specs are rather steep...
What's your budget for this?
What's happening?? He wants an EU based server, not a server with good connectivity to EU. And Buffalo is not good at all compared to UK or DE.
You need to learn more about basic Geography or if not, English.
Hey,
I can do the plan you require in Frankfurt, Germany, but on regular space (non-SSD)
