Need Webhosting for < 8$/year
Hey guys,
I'm searching for webhosting as a testing environment for <8$/year.
I don't need good uptime, because it would only be needed to test some things I can't test on the live environment.
I need:
2GB Space
10GB Traffic
SSH and FTP access
Multiple FTP accs
1 MySQL DB
I already saw BlueVM's webhosting plans but the lower 2 are sold out.
Regards

How about http://lowendbox.com/blog/christmas-vpsdime-7month-6gb-8year-128mb-and-more-openvz-vps-in-dallas-and-la/ ?
Why not check out iwStack.com and their cloud hosting? They will only charge you for what you are using, so if you want to save money you can turn off the server when you are not using it. They will charge a entry fee of €30, but the credit never expire. and you can use the full €30.
You will have the option to create new servers if you want at anytime, reset the VPS at anytime etc etc.
But maybe out of your price range?
That's a nice offer, but running my own stuff, this would use more than 128mb ram on a vps.
I'm already an iwstack customer, but this should still be accessable at any time, because others would work on it aswell and at random times.
Ok, then the price will be much higher then $8/year. (as you already know then).
Is SSH a must?
I can do it with cPanel, if no.
@tr1cky
Watcha running? I'm running VestaCP with 15ish websites and using about 128mb. If you don't need a panel, you can run 18+ static websites with just 64mb. Just my opinion, though.
Nice. Under a good load?
Ya give or take
Sorry, ssh is a must, need to import large DBs a lot.
We have a suitable LET offer for your outlined requirements.
@tr1cky you say big databases but only need 2gb of space? That's not really more than say 2 big databases.
http://crissic.net/shared $10 on shared1 plan.
$2 over your budget, but the starter plan has 20 GB of space.
$5/year, how is that for shared hosting? Without ssh but with db less then 2 gb it wont be a problem with phpmyadmin.
