Very BAD expereince with Hetzner.de Packetloss all the day
hi!
i have an EX40 Server , but i have 57% packet loss. If i make a screenshot and sent it for hetzner they say that: Its fine no problem with our end.
When i log into ssh its takes 2 minutes and so on for the other clients.
I send email again again and again. No error. But the ethernet card is damaged i think.
They dont want to fix it. What can i do?
My VPS-es and gameservers are lagging all the day...

Which network adapter driver are you running?
lsmod | grep r8
What do you get?
How about check their wiki.
That's normal for Hetzner. Don't expect something good from them.
I also had a sever with them few months ago, their network simply oversold and they never going to fix it.
We want install their driver what there is on wiki on hetzner but the centos 6 say that: its already updated to the latest ethernet driver.
The hetzner say: Its fine , no problem with the servers. Its okay. The network is great because there is no packet loss. But there is 40% and 57%. I can log into ssh and have to wait two min to open the MC
So where is this packet loss, on which hop? Do you have a mtr?
Whack a traceroute out and see if you/we can see where its failing.
do you have a correct NS in /etc/resolv.conf? Because MC starts slowly if you have something wrong with your dns setup.
Can you ping 8.8.8.8 from your server?
Mostly they get hit by DDOS, just look into there forums.

No error. No nothing. Slow.. everything. and have 57% packet loss. The Hetzner say that: Thats okay , fine.
Where is this packet loss, on which hop? Between your server and it's gateway, or somewhere after that?
I have this packet loss.. the same.
So you did install the correct driver as suggested in your other thread?
