$5 XEN VPS Hosting? What are your thoughts?
I'm considering switching from my current XEN VPS from Linode to a new company Xenfinity. Any reviews or current customers? What do you guys think about the package options?

Well, IMHO if you know Nick Liu, its a go
Uh... their plans.. are a bit...
Best way I can explain it.
Wouldn't touch this company with a 10-foot pole. Everything about this feels sketchy.
The description on one of their plans is 'wat.'
What's zRAM haha ?
Signed up, first post and uh...new site.
Totally not suspicious

@Saiku Thank you http://i.imgur.com/JJkofgR.gif

@skybucks100 so do you see this as a good or a bad thing?
That's what happens when hosts scale their plans like this.
Also, what the hell does "1+" IP addresses mean?
Uh.. Ya see, Most "average" LEBers don't need 16gb of RAM. "We" like variation, as in anything from 96mb to the occasional 8GB. Not "here you get one or the other". If I needed 16gb for $75, i'd go out and buy a dedicated server.
Looking at their plans. Now it's fiver, doubler and square. "doubler", is that a word?
Technically yes, it is a word. "A device that doubles the frequency or voltage of an input signal." I highly doubt thats what they meant.
At least they have an SSL cert
They belongs this company? http://www.deltik.org/news.php
issued on 11-16-2013
expires on 2-15-2014
tl;dr it's a frickin' free 90-day EssentialSSL trial certificate :P
Tried to pre-order one, but it seems I need to pay first? @_@ reminds me of swiftway...
Their plan and pricing is confusing.
@JerryHou according to other posts I have read about them on 96MB and web hosting talk they are launching sometime this week.
All 3 posts on WHT that mention Xenfinity were made by you today within a 15-minute time period.
Oh look...
https://twitter.com/Sprak_
tl;dr Xenfinity is off to a bad start...
@DomainBop that is why I said it is a go if he knows Nick Liu.
Damn, nevermind!
what's the story of this Nick Liu?
If you are a friend of his, then you can trust him, and being his customer would help him launch the new business.
Unfortunately I don't know him but xenfinity.com is registered to him.
WHT already banned him for his spam.
zRam = zSwap, it's a new feature in the Linux 3x Kernel, its used in Ubuntu 13.10. "zswap basically trades CPU cycles
