Looking for a affordable Root/VPS in Europe (out of Germany)
Hey there,
i'm looking for an Affordable Root Server or VPS in Europe.
It should have at least 150-200 Gig HDD and Unlim Bandwith with a relatively good Up- and Download.
Price shouldn't be over 20€ per Month. I now, that's hard to find, so I have to rely on you: The Pro's, for finding a good Special Offer or something for me.
And yes, I'm pretty new to this. Thanks

How much RAM do you need and what's the purpose?
Get a budget dedi, it is obviously what you want for a VPS budget
digicube.fr online.net worldstream.nl kimsufi.co.uk
They will be as fine as fine can be for a seedbox.
Purpose: Upload and Download Center. Some Friends need an stable Server to Upload their Stuff for a Project, they are working on (lots of Data). Further Purpose: Teamspeak Server, Webspace.
Hi @pr1mus, mind sharing why you want to avoid Germany ?
thks !
Hetzner ?
Of Course: Some Members of the Team asked me to search for a Server and avoid Germany. It's a bit, i think, paranoid of them, but I respect their wishes...even if i didn't know anything from this stuff.
heh, I know the feeling, but there are another German providers that are a lot better !
for 5€ more you could get this http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1323581
I have one for few months with openvz for testing and i'm very happy with it. Its 20TB/m, not unmetered, and you get 1gbit speed
Ok...it took some time and some shouting but eh...i talked some mind into those Heads xD German Servers are ok too...But not Hetzner I allread read about them.
Online.net has a really nice offer with 500GB drive, dedicated to you!
http://www.online.net/en/dedicated-server/dedibox-scg2 is only 10EUR
Just be careful! It has no RAID, so if the disk fails you lose your data. You could buy two of those, set them up to mirror each other and still only pay 20EUR, so within your budget and lots of resources!
This offer is really great FiberVM! It comes the closest to my needs
But to be honest: I will be checking more Offers to see, what i could get
Got another Question: Can I run Teamspeak and maybe an BitCoin Mining Program on that Kind of Server like the one from Online.net?
I've seen a lot of bad reviews about online.net regarding their continuous packet loss.
Could you link me some? I'm interested in reading some reviews before actually renting the server.
probably yes, but bitcoin mining with cpu is a pretty useless !
So, Teamspeak would run? Bitcoin Mining issn't really that needed, but Teamspeak should definitively run on that Server/VPS I'm looking for.
The Second offer I'm interested in, is this one from VPSSlim (http://lowendbox.com/blog/vpsslim-e39year-1024mb-openvz-vps-in-the-netherlands/ ) VPS Basic Edition....but I didn't read too much good about them here.
Online.net €9.99 server seems perfect for your needs. I wouldn't recommend bitcoin mining on any cpu, it's not worth the cost of the server to do.
If you want something with a bit more cpu power than the nano at online.net then I'd go for this:
http://digicube.fr/rapidserveurs/21
you don't need dedi server for teamspeak, I had it installed on 64mb lowendspirit NL with IPv6 only, and that costs 3 euro per year.
Sorry, I don't speak france xD So, this won't work for me. Ok, out with the Bitcoin Mining Doing this on my GPU.
I know I don't, but I need a dedi/VPS and if Teamspeak Runs there, it's a benefit.
He also wants 100-200gig disk space and unlimited b/w though
100 Gig is enough for now, 200 would be Perfect!
There you go:

I have posted before in this topic link to i3d net server:
http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1323581
you get 2x250gb disk, you get raid1 for it. Why I mention les is because of this:
I thought he got the server he needs and asked other question. Anyhow you can run TS3 on anything, that was point of my post.
