tun/tap allowed?
yes, you have to open a ticket to have it enabled.
Provisioning is NOT automatic
It should, do you have some order not provisioned?
I've just got it, SSH takes so long that it gives me time out.
finally got in, and I/O speed?
[root@xxxxxx ~]# dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync
16384+0 records in
16384+0 records out
1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 74.1017 seconds, 14.5 MB/s
I expected at least average speed, but this is lot worse than old "Hostrail"
Can't even do yum update.

could you please tell me which node are you in?
Forget it, I just asked for refund.
I ordered 5min ago, so you won't object it, right?
no problem at all.
However this is the node status:
This is a test taken from another vps on the same node:
and the following are taken from your vps:
I will appreciate your prompt refund.
thanks..
Refunded.
Any ETA to this?
btw. VZ0 is out of stock.
Annnd on the other hand, my experience with Prometeus has been great.
LOL
hope next month. We have it in the TODO since months but was delayed for lack of time/resources
I see, they were ordered all in a flash. Maybe the parallel setup and the massive DD caused the bad experience of LAKid that to be honest I wasn't able to reproduce.
This plan was created for LET users (Damian was one of them), so if you need one please PM me and I'll add one for you.

Thank you :-)
I know, it's never enough
I've picked up a VZ5 with iperweb -- thought I'd post my results... Gonna be primarily for storage and playing around on...
@kendid Thanks! It seems a bit low the dd result, it's usually better than this... Maybe there are some vps setup running and slowing things
@kendid try to use ioping to have a more useful disk test. DD testing write speed for large files is not so important is real usage.
here actual (apr.9) data for my quickweb de node (384/450 with extra cpu addon) and iperweb VZ5 :
QuickWeb:
IperWeb:
As you can see Quickweb dd test gives really good results (137 MB/s) but that doesn't measure disk i/o latency or seek rate. Additionally some providers offer worse overall performance to return very high values for dd test. So my experience is that IperWeb box is performing much better.
But if you want to exchange my annual QW vps for an annual VZ7 feel free to contact me. You will get a VPS with a fantastic DD test score and a higher price tag if you take this deal.
@marco @prometeus
Forgive my ignorance, here's my results for ioping - not sure exactly what the numbers mean but these are my results...
The numbers show some bad results. Looking at the node stats I don't see nothing strange. I'll keep an eye on this node to see if there is some abuse...
In any case I've no problem to refund you if you don't like our service
You can send a private message to me here or open a billing ticket.
Thanks again
Bye

Yes I used to get around ~80-90 MB/s, but today it's only 39.5 MB/s.
But nevermind I can live with this since I only have tiny wordpress blogs..
I think it should be better now.

My ioping still lower than marrco's though. I'm on AMD node.
Edit:
I know. Some users are using the disk very hard. I don't want to suspend without talking about the problem with the users, anyway if you like I can move your account to a different node while the problems are sorted out. Just open a ticket and we'll do
Is the Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5450 @ 3.00GHz node better than my AMD node?
No, the node pm14 is a powerful quad socket 12 core opteron (48 cores in total) with 128G of ram but since it's more powerful there are more (ab)users on it and at time the I/O lag a bit (or more, but I hope to stabilize it however).
Then may be I'm gonna stay on the AMD node! haha..
I can't complain to be honest, actually the performance is really good in general.
But hope you resolve the issues soon.
Thank you Sal
