Please solve my issue. I have a pending node transfer request. The support guy told me it will be done shortly. But 2 days passed. I am really pissed at their service.

@ATHK Could you please private message me? Thanks!
PM sent, and thank you for finally removing that space from your user name
@ChrisMiller thank you for relocating and taking care of my vps
@ChrisMiller do you guys answer new tickets first and old tickets later?
so If I open a new ticket with same contents, will I be answered soon?
And Billing is down again......
I don't know what is wrong with the Houston 1 node. I have had quite a lot of downtime in the last 2 weeks and upload speeds continue to be bad.
I have requested cancellation of my service today. However now that Billing is down, I can't track the ticket anymore.. It's quite frustrating really.
@neel not like they would answered your ticket within 24+ hours anyway
They answered mine in a few hours when needed password reset to billing area, however, after i replied asking the same for solus, was a different story. I gave up reinstalling with debian, i managed to get it working with centos, since I will be moved soon anyway...
But I will need solus access soon.
For some reason emails with password reset are not going through.
Just try the billing through out the day
Billing is down due to a DDOS attack it's also affecting my VPS I managed to get a ticket in 3-5 hours ago.
I thought they have DDoS filtering in LA ?
I believe your tickets were answered by Randal. Yesterday?
The downtime has been caused, by denial of service attacks.
We do but the services having issues are in Houston.
Apparently. Maybe it's not active yet?
@ChrisMiller I will just give up. Good luck...
So, why not move to LA the infrastructure, I mean billing, control panel...
@ChrisMiller - any news on mitigating the attack? one of my VPS's is very very slow, it just took 3 minutes to load the website hosted on it..
@RLT_RandalB ? the website boasts 24/7 support, still waiting for a ticket to be answered properly :P
Here is what they say on the website:
24/7 Support
URPad provides US based support technicians ready to assist you, day or night 24/7 every day of the year.
Same here
A nother host that doing like OVH, first CentrioHost now URPAD. "You can go to another host, we move awaaay", sounds like its new style now?
A node I was on got hit by a DDOS attack late Saturday night (yes, a weekend)...first downtime in 6 months.
The timeline:
11:30 PM my monitors notify me VPS in unreachable. do a few tests, node is unreachable, looks like an attack
11:42 PM open ticket
11.43 PM provider responds to ticket "node is getting hit by a DDOS, we're in the process of mitigating it"
11:54 PM DDoS attack mitigated
No this wasn't Burpad, but it was a low end provider (in Miami).
Moral of the story: some low end providers who advertise 24/7 support and fast response times actually do have 24/7 support and fast response times even on a weekend, and they monitor their servers 24/7 and quickly fix any issues.
Normally I do get very fast response times.. I dot know they may be busy? It's not hindering my ability to serve my customers that much it's just a pain to have to wait 5 or so minutes for it to connect and push an email through googles SMTP servers..
Oh that and SSH is painful too..
I would assume they are busy hence the :P smiley before..
billing.urpad.net is up but cannot submit ticket. seems timeout.
Got a response to my ticket regarding slow upload / download speeds.
And the staff member provided a ping for some reason.
2 packets transmitted, 2 received, 0% packet loss, time 1000ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 169.695/169.847/170.000/0.439 ms
That's not even my IP...
Issue still unresolved...
