    How to install proxmox 7

What's the purpose of installing proxmox on server with 1 IP?

ProxMox can be configured with IPv6, leaving IPv4 for nested VM and other VMs can be set on IPv6 and NAT

Can someone explain what does this iperf output mean? My BHS6 KS-LE seems bad.

What is this 2 different port connections 5001 and 51291

    `

Bad pipe or switch I guess, I got a KS just behave like that years ago, and that took months for them to fix.

Oh I see. So what did they do? Did you get refund or replacement?
Also, what other tests they asked you to do? I may as well seek help from them.. thnx

iperf tests, they knew the problem but took quite long to fix. Just hope they're more responsive now.

refund or replacement---I was so naive not to ask for that! o:)

    Thnx

It comes with a /64 of IPv6. Also, NAT is a thing too ;)

In addition to this, you can also use a VPN (eg via WireGuard) and have multiple VPN IPs for the server, for services that don't need to be public.

The majority of my VMs/LXCs are configured like this - all accessible purely over wireguard. There's a haproxy instance running for things that I'd like to make public.

Most of the time I only NAT for the internet connection, rarely find myself forwarding ports, etc..

How much are you willing to pay?

  • Can VMware be installed on kimsufi servers and can I order more than one IP per server?

  • Hi, @ninzo59
is the order status "being processed" really being processed?
or are the orders kinda dead?

    Yeah please update.

  • Waiting "The order 161752443 is being processed."

  • There seems to be a second network interface on the KS-LE I got in GRA; has anyone encountered something like this and has any idea what's it for exactly? Maybe it's just there because it's present on the mobo?

  • @ninzo59 How long will it take if the order is pending validation?

  • @PhantomPain said:

I paid on 2. Validated on third. No delivery yet.

I'm afraid that the order will be canceled in the end

  • Looks like the stock of KS-5 has been exhausted by this sale - maybe they'll fill the orders with KS-6/7 :D

Well I had ordered when things were stock and @ninzo59 mentioned in the thread all paid invoices will be fulfilled. So not really worried.

  • Same here, ordered yesterday and it says that is being processed.

Most likely IPMI. It is configured on my server with a private network and ‘ovh_dontchange’ user. However unfortunately it is not exposed in the control panel

If you really want to transfer them away, better provide more info about the product. So many crappy KS-LE out there (either with archaic spinning rust or 10Mbps upload speed or...).
And of course the origin of the account (US vs EU), because you can't transfer between different branches.

My account is an EU account, and here is a Yabs of the machine. If you need more details, let me know.

Can you share some more information on this? How can I use this to get access to the ipmi... just for curiosity
