Picked one up, solid YABS!
How long did it take for your VM to be provisioned?
About 2 hours
And they want a blood sample as well.
More seriously, the latest that you may cancel is two weeks before the end of the contract period. You cancel by submitting a ticket saying that you want to cancel at the end of the contract period. It's pretty simple, but you should respect the two-week condition.
Collectors watchdogs still hungry for you.
Open a ticket now requesting cancellation after 12 months.
If they open the ticket in a few days they need to be prepaid for the next year.
Possible. during my last (final) renewal before paying I referenced invoice number and requested cancellation. They confirmed the same. And also acted on it.
Could be different for new service - mine was existing
If you don’t want a contract, this is not for you. Don’t take it.
That common practice as we seen. Because I always advice to be careful with them.
if the price and cancellation terms are not good for you, then DO NOT BUY
It is that simple.
If you want similar VPS deal in a month to month plan, the price is Euro 8.99. Just cancel any time with two week notice before renewal monthly date.
So, choice and decision making is entirely yours.
I'm just curious, it's not low single cpu score?
Regards.
But the core is fully dedicated to the VPS.
Or you can opt for other shared higher core performance, but cpu core could be only 15 to 20% allocated to the VPS.
All depends on your use case.
OK,

What it's mean the nested virtualization?

Its very good, its on par with EPYC CPU! Only Ryzen, Xeon E-22xx and i7/i9 are better for single core.
The pricing is where this VPS shines!
Lets compare this to Vultr HF, which has better singlecore.
https://www.vultr.com/products/high-frequency-compute/#pricing
You need to pay $24/mo to get 2vCore (not dedicated, you cant use it 24/7!), 4GB of ram and just 3TB bandwidth. Here its 4x cheaper for better specs and PHP-Friends is solid premium provider with great uptime. Crazy deal.
You can just send them a fax, as per german standard procedures. Please refrain from displaying one of the leading world economies as backwards and unflexible.
virtual machines can be created within your VPS
Nested Virtualization
Google for more details
Instance was deployed after 4h from payment via PayPal, but I was sleeping so here is my YABS!
Network with speeds like Hetzner, disk faster than Hetzner/Netcup, dedicated cores and 8GB of ram for just 5euro/mo! Super happy that I got it.
I can skip Black Friday now xD
Nested virtualization means that you can run hypervisor like KVM and make VPSes with full separation like on dedicated server. Without it you can only make containers with LXC which share same kernel.
Lot of providers dont include it because if you can use one VPS as multiple VPS that means your CPU usage, memory usage etc. will be higher than people that dont use it. PHP-Friends dedicates you resources (cores, memory, even port speed) and they allow you to use it 100% without pushing you to some more expensive plan with higher limits!

@PHP_Friends what do you think about adding a PGP public key for encrypted communication?
How many resources does YABS use?

@PHP_Friends At what price can you double the disk space? Is it possible to buy some more space, even on hdd?
What is the cpu steal like?
I watched for one minute and its 0.0-0.2. Mostly 0.0
0.0 (under medium load)
Is this a one-off? Or just the start of their sale? It would be hard to resist their L vServer at a similar discount (~35%).
It's a one-off.
They may have a BF promotion, but it wouldn't be on their standard product line.
Sold Out?
