What do you install in your VPS?
I recently got a VPS, I was searching for some services to self-host. Personally, I already have
- Bitwarden for password management
- NextCloud in my home server to sync files and Syncthing to replace Dropbox
- miniflux for RSS read
I found awesome self-hosted in GitHub, but there are lots of great projects. What do you choose in this services.

For Dynamic routing optimization, so it burns about 100GB Traffic on idle (depends on the size of the network, about 2.2GB per WG Link).
Plus Smokeping and the Traffic it actually forwards through the network.
You should also try:
Wireguard (or other VPN)
Ad-Guard or Pi-hole (for ad blocking)
You can also install:
TheLounge - Web IRC client
Wallabag/Shiori - Bookmarks system
GitLab if you need
Maybe some kind of metrics and statistics system for your server
ArchiveBox

I start by removing OpenSSH.
Wireguard - for privacy
Pi-hole with Unbound - for privacy and ad-blocking
Bitwarden - so I could self-host my own password manager
Nextcloud - my own cloud
Searx - don't want to use Google and other search engines directly
KiwiIRC - my preference of IRC web client
Plex Media Server - for my family and friends to consume
ApisCP - I like it plus I got about 10 lifetime PRO licenses when they were free (sold some of them), I use it for a lot of other things, possibly the best free license(s) I got out of all the freebies I collected
lighttpd + PHP for my websites (no database), ZNC to bouce my IRC connections, IKEv2 and OpenVPN concentrators, icecast2 (handy lol) and plethora of my custom scripts

For fun:
1. adguard home with sni proxy

For serious:
1. remote VSCode
2. some Nodejs projects

It’s amazing that all these live in less than 512MB of RAM.

Wait, do you use docker or native install so that everything is less than 512 MiB ram?
For a personal project I run, IPFS + Docker on nearly every single server I have access too

Thank you for your recommendation, I use both RSSHub and RSS-bridge.
Are there any self-hosted services to recommend?
