I have been their customer for some time, and VPS has been running steadily,
I hope there will be more promotional activities and I'm looking forward to providing services in HK
Equinix SY3.
well thank you! Currently we have Singapore and Tokyo and soon Sydney. We are still undecided about Hong Kong.. probably Jakarta or Auckland is coming first.
Which DC though?
Interesting
Looking at Equinix JK1 or Telin (South Jakarta City), but this is very early stage, tentative and we still have to evaluate how local regulations would affect services offered.
Last but not least we have to evaluate if there are significant latency improvements over our Singapore location.
Hi. Any news on this?
Yes, everything will be ready soon(TM), some routing issues with RPKI have been fixed. Looking Glass will be up within a few hours, too.
Looking forward for Jakarta. 👍
Looking glass is enabled, please let me know
Or now PM me a test IP
I thought Equinix JK1 already closed down.
edit : ah nvm, It's under PT. DCI Indonesia
I was looking out for a cheap Australia box yesterday, nothing could beat 3.50$ or 2.90€ from OVH if you go via International USD.
But looking forward to snap a webhosting24 soon.
tencent Lightweight hongkong vps ¥24/m
i can vouch for @QuantumCore quick support fast cpu's.. Harry if you got a deal for me pm me
yes, would be really good to have that location, but it is still tentative and honestly quite difficult from a regulatory point of view (licences required for a lot of things).
routing is still not active, but should be today.
yup!
looking forward, too!
I hear in Australia they relay BGP messages with kangaroos, so that it's going to take a long time.
There were 12 viewers watching my push-ups from Oceania in March; when this number grows over 50, I'll consider adding a node there.
A common problem of Oceanian networks is that they often connect to Asia (e.g. Japan, Singapore, India) through USA.
I hope you can do better than them.
Is 10x10x10 package possible there?
I can do this for $15/yr, we rent from OVH.
Please open a ticket for this offer.
The Looking Glass for Sydney is online:
https://lg.au.webhosting24.com/
IP for this LG is currently in Munich.
Edit: I'm wrong. There's something wrong with my local ISP.
Looks good.
OVH
could you please send me the traceroute/mtr if the problem persists? We've had some issues with IPv6 and HE, but those should be fixed by now.
All good from my side! Looks like you're routing through RansomIT's Sydney pop?
Hosthatch Sydney datacenter.
It's strange that there is no other route between CT San Jose and LG's IP.
I'm not seeing San Jose in that. Only China and the LG
218.30.54.182
This IP is from CT San Jose。
Well... Here is an mtr from Fremont, CA
170ms is definitely not in the same state. Also IP itself shows as China:
https://whatismyipaddress.com/ip/218.30.54.182
Not all places pass through this IP.
This is the MTR of VPS from Colorossing San Jose.
Don't tell me they've been caught re-routing data for inspection again
yeah, looks like MPLS and/or some other things done in between ;-)
But very interesting to see this from different locations worldwide.
@tomazu, Hi. When it will be possible to purchase the Sydney VPS on webhosting24.com? I'm asking just out of curiousness. No hurries or anything. I also don't want to cause extra work by purchasing a node at a different location now to get it migrated later
