Anyone else get this? All services I have currently are working.

Yeah, I got that too for one of my working service. Either amount of chargeback triggered something at paypal or they do for unknow reason. Kinda weird.

Yeah me tooo. Getting invoices. Should i pay those or not.? 🙄

Not only got an invoice for the unavailable service but also another one with late fee just one minute later - WTF is that? :/
Also I am not even able to access the respective server in the service panel to cancel it since 3 weeks - page always runs into a timeout - nice move @cociu :o

    Same situation. :/

    • My VPS (it's not a storage VM) went offline (14/05/2021).
    • I not received renewal invoice before my VPS expiration time. My VM expiration time is: 17/05/2021.
    • I opened a ticket (15/05/2021), to get help about the unreachable (offline) VPS, and informed them about the missing invoice.
    • Yesterday (in my timezone) 04/06/2021 received the invoice. After some minute my invoice has been updated with extra 'late fee' (+2EUR).
    • I not received any reply to my ticket, since I opened it (I updated my original ticket two times). And my VM is still offline.

Ps: I not paid the invoice for the not working VM.

They are working still. All the things i have read point out to some diligence.
Yes, it is slow, maybe he hoped he would recover more data, should have definitely given more updates and more in the open, but I do NOT think this is a scammer's behaviour in any way shape or form.

So..120 fried and 280 have warnings? Makes sense.

Don't think even backblaze has that high of an failure rate.

And don't give me this shit about his English being bad. Even Google translate can do a better job.

Has nothing to do with his English skills. He's in Sales. Salespeople always mangle what the techs tell them.

So was it 120 or not? Why is it 'like 120'?

Shouldn't he have an absolute count?

If the Netapp doesn't power on, did he get new units? I'm pretty sure you can't just take drives out of netapp's and put them into a regular chassis. Don't they do low level formatting of the drive to change the sector sizing? 520 bytes instead of 512?

We all know @cociu is not good at English. He was always like this, and people used to like this about him in deciphering his comments. Because of this huge downtime, the word "involucrated" (referring to storage) will remain in the history of LET for a very long time.

Why provide updates discreetly? These should be mailed out to customers.

If you can advertise your stuff on forums, you should also provide updates on them.

Personally , as a customer, I think it would be also nice to know at some point if I am one of the lucky ones on a healty hard disk or not. Specially not using hostsolutions as a backup of a backup .

Same Story of my 2 VPS. 1 was storage with triennially payment
Another one is a 300GB SSD

Both are offline and same invoice story with Late Fees and VM is suspended

I know nothing about netapp, but changing sector size from 512 to 520 doesn't make sense. Being physical and all.

Shitty communication as per usual but we have collectively come to expect that from the man who bought us words like refound and involucrate..
