Interesting !
Planning to offer lower specs?
Sir check this

base plan is $7.9/yr using the easter discounts
Order £10.50/14.52$ quarterly.
Price excludes VAT where applicable.
Already have reseller in DE, unfortunately the space you have currently is not as generous as HM... that's why I was thinking to get another one, but you have said maybe you will have more "juicer" packages sometime soon in entrybytes
AHA! EntryBytes. Yes sir. Still a work in progress. One day at time
Nothing in Miami? RIP
Directadmin Shared Hosting in progress.
2 things coming. By 1 am EDT
Nope.
8.22 MB/s for 4k reads seems very slow for RAID10 SSD... That's the speed I'd expect from regular hard drives in RAID.
This thread is so quiet...
The hottest Easter deals are on the way!
Let me know if you guys need something specific, will try and post something in the morning tomorrow
@FAT32 agreed
@hosthatch some good deals on cpu and memory in Australia
Wait for April 11.
Is this still available?
What did it show when you went to the order link?
Yeah, I just got one.
Thanks @FAT32
Offer from OBHost https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/170799/happy-easter-from-obhost-top-deals-for-shared-hosting-kvm-openvz-vps-and-ssl#latest
Imagination runs wild on this question !
Storage deals please
Some cheap ones in Hong Kong like those you provided in "Black Friday 2020 - NVMe and Storage deals - deploy worldwide".
your expectations are wrong ;-) and you are probably interpreting the numbers wrong here.
regular hard drives are technically limited to something between 100-200 IOps because of the mechanical access times. therefore 2k IOps is not feasible for pure hdd even in raid. maybe if you add some caching you'll be able to see something like that.
don't get me wrong, 2k - actually 4k because this bench combines read and write 50+50 maybe considered on the lower end but still this is usually fast enough. probably the provider has set a limit here to help with balancing the node properly.
in general you want to see IOps when looking at 4k blocksize vs throughput when looking at 1m blocksize. 900MB/s is also something you won't achieve on HDD without caching.
on top do not forget this is a) a shared environment and b) people easily are spoiled by NVMe numbers from empty nodes.
this still is a synthetic bench, so you should not overinterpret the numbers ;-)
TL;DR; this particular example looks healthy, though it might not be the fastest ever seen.
Bunch of VPS available again at netcup. List on the egg tracker: https://www.camelus.eu/netcup/
Transparent eggs, e.g., 04-05-2021 13:20, are really hard to find!
Yeah when they are on a clear background, they are almost impossible to find!
