Looking for small KVM VPS with 1 IPV4 and /48 IPV6 in US East
I'm just looking for a small KVM VPS to run wireguard and tinker with IPV6 tunneling and routing. Nothing sketchy. I played with tunnelbroker over the weekend and now I have IPV6 fever.
For Reference I purchased this VPS from frantech over the weekend, but some how CC processing failed so I was refunded, and I don't see any available instances to repurchase. It seemed ideal otherwise
NY RYZEN KVM 512MB - (02/27/2021 - 01/31/2022) $22.29 USD
Additional IP Addresses: 0 x IP Addresses $24.00 USD
DDOS Protected IP Addresses: 0 x IP Addresses $36.00 USD
Automatic Backups: No
Operating System: Manually install later (No password emailed)
------------------------------------------------------
Sub Total: $22.29 USD
Credit: $0.00 USD
Total: $22.29 USD
I don't intend to run all my traffic through it, but would like more than 2TB of traffic.
For perspective here's my vnstat history on my WAN interface
vbash-4.1# vnstat -i eth0 -m
eth0 / monthly
month rx | tx | total | avg. rate

/48 might be a bit rare in the vps scenario.
This might be useful: https://www.tunnelbroker.net/
Otherwise maybe @freerangecloud can help?
Hi thanks. I setup tunnelbroker over the weekend, but I saw that Hetzner and Netflix block traffic from HE. Also I wanna trunk it through wireguard instead a SIT tunnel.
@tomazu
We'll do up to a /48.
Can also do it as routed space if needed since I'm assuming you'll be wanting to re-route to stuff behind the tunnel.
awesome! yeah that'd be sweet
They are good folks. Go with them. You won’t regret
@freerangecloud is gettin me going. thanks!
thank you! While I can help with a /48 IPv6 subnet and a VPS, we currently have no US East location - just Munich/Germany, Milano/Italy and hopefully something in Asia soon :-)
WOW amazing. waiting for your expansion
woohoo I'm slinging bits through my tunnel. Thanks @freerangecloud
Sweet pings from home to @freerangecloud Ashburn!
awesome! Wish I had that sexy latency from home to our infrastructure. Gotta make do with 20ms to our Vancouver site.
@lanefu did you ticket billing?
@Francisco
For the frantech VPS? Nope. Short attention span and just kinda moved on. Wasn't upset about it or anything
Give BuyVM @Francisco another look. They are good people and will help you out.
