Still waiting for negative latency as advertised by google.
If you ask me, this is the end of gaming as we know it. It encourages free-to-play, play-to-win, loot boxes and all that other shit, and also requires infrastructure from the get-go, meaning the little guy can’t compete.
That leaves us in a world of sequels and licenses shit, with no risks being taken and no true art being produced. These will be games without an truly interesting, original narrative, creative expression and innovation.
It also leaves us with games that can disappear in the blink of an eye, never to be seen again.
In short, fuck cloud games.
