Recycle it.
A recycling company will come and collect it all. Apparently they will pay me $100!
Thats $100HKD... $13 usd basically... thats like 1 drink at a bar in HK. Or a cup of coffees and a sandwich at Starbucks.
Good deal!
Just put it on a auction on ebay, buyer pays for shipping. Someone can probably use it for many more years. I have used old hardware for a very long time, and a few of my servers are still super old, but slowly moving to newer hardware and virtual servers instead.
I couldn't give that shit away 4 years ago. Though, more noise than electrical cost, though that was still poor efficiency 4 years ago.
Too much effort.
You meant at Sunbucks, right ?
SPR Coffee
LOL.
I'm in HK not China. We have real brands in HK. No copy brands.
Find a cheap colocation provider and use the server for LET offers
I already own the datacentre... how much cheaper can it get?
Ah.. ok
Why bother using this equipment. If it is no longer possible to profit from it, put it up for sale on ebay. Believe me, there are buyers, they may want to make a NAS storage or remote desktop out of it. ;-)
Even if, it doesn't look like the usually giant photo copier machine ?
I believe the indian customs dept will quote a better amount as they are very good at it.
Basement.
All good.
I've tossed all the machines now.
Someone is happy.
Find a cheap country and buy it
I was about to write up a whole novel on why you should throw them away, but looks like you came to your senses and did it. The value of old hardware actually goes into the negatives and starts hurting your business, especially if you pay a lot for electricity.
