Hi all,
Like the title suggests, I’d like to have Windows 2016 installed on a Hetzner CX41 VPS, which Hetzner doesn’t offer to rent. Any template available please ? (Optional: instructions welcomed). Or are some of you offering such install as a service? Thanks in advance!

There's an official guide:
https://docs.hetzner.com/cloud/servers/windows-on-cloud
Hope it helps.
Thanks. What about Windows Server 2019 VirtIO-SCSI template, compatible with Hetzner VPS ? Is it available anywhere ?
Try this one:
wget -O- 'http://www.danielcardoso.ovh/SCSI/Server2019Std.gz' | gunzip | dd of=/dev/sda
Username: Administrator
Password: Password123
wget -O- 'https://mirror.joodle.nl/WindowsServer2016Evaluation-Template.gz' | gunzip | dd of=/dev/sda
Once fully downloaded and unzipped set your server to boot from the HDD again and wait till the Remote Desktop is accessible.
You can login using these credentials:
Username: Administrator
Password: Password147
Thanks guys. In the end, I shall pick a dedicated server instead

Can I use the same template you suggested ? Or else ?
With Joodle you should be fine for a Dedicated.
With mine the URL changes a bit: http://danielcardoso.ovh/Dedicated/Server2016Std.gz
Thanks Daniel, do you have the 2019 version ?
Why not install fresh via kvm/ipmi?
Yes, here you go: http://danielcardoso.ovh/Dedicated/Server2019Std.gz
Username: Administrator
Password: Password123
Thanks a lot for all the contributions
Would you guys happen to have a template for Windows 2019 Standard but KVM with VirtIO-SCSI version ? Thanks again

Any chance I can get help too? Same issue as above. Trying install Windows Server 2019 on a KS-10 Server using the command below. I put the server back into hard disk boot after it finishes and reboot it and it never comes up.
wget -O- 'http://danielcardoso.ovh/Dedicated/Server2012R2Std.gz' | gunzip | dd of=/dev/sda
and
wget -O- 'http://danielcardoso.ovh/Dedicated/Server2019Std.gz' | gunzip | dd of=/dev/sda
You are using dedicated image.
Pm me, and ill provide one who works on hetzner
Well I guess the person who said that could help me got banned. If anyone else is able to help, I would greatly appreciate it.
You are trying to run an image meant to a dedicated server on a VPS. In any case, I'll send you a PM and I'll help you out.

Hi everyone.
Thank you for trying to help with your infected windows **with preinstalled malware inside. How much cryptocurrency did you earn @danielcardosopt ?
dont use danielcardosopt image @coreag @scottybuk @suricloud and any let member.
ooof
All of images developed by me that are here:
https://www.danielcardoso.ovh/VIRTIO/
https://www.danielcardoso.ovh/SCSI/
https://www.danielcardoso.ovh/Dedicated/
Are 100% vírus free. Your so called proof, doesn’t prove anything at all. I don’t know where you got the image but it wasn’t from one of those links above.
I spent many hours developing this to the LET community, for free instead of charging money like many people do.
If you aren’t satisfied, go ahead and build your own template.
That's not enough proof since the image you used can probably be tampered with or you did some funky stuff right after installation which got you that.
You should check the image you used if it contains that malware executable.
You should also serve the SHA1SUMs so people can verify that the images they have are untampered.
Nah bro, i just fresh install it (dd) via rescue mode, login windows, change the password, install chrome, change into EN language, and then use it next day..
When i logged in next day, on task manager proccess list, there is "crs.exe", "Registry Editor" and "Microl Office" program that made my cpu spike into 45% of 3 core.
So i install wireshark, to check the traffic (but i didnot use it in video) and try record it with my local obs.
How can the malware installed by theirself when i away 1x24 hours? is that possible?
I'm using yours 2012r2 virtio,
Sorry if i'm misjugde you, but how that malware installed by theirself in next 1x24 hours? Did windows 2012 easily hacked after installation?
or maybe, yes RCE and any other CVE ?
Yeah, maybe. I’ll tell you exactly what I do:
I bought a Netcup VPS (the smallest one so I can create the smallest image possible so it fits in all the VPS out their), because Netcup allows me to set my VPS disk to VirtIO, SCSI and even IDE (dedicated).
I install Windows on every disk type, and then install the drivers from Fedora Project https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/quick-docs/creating-windows-virtual-machines-using-virtio-drivers/index.html
Enable less secure RDP (otherwise people won’t be able to access it because of CredSSP).
And change the machine name to mine, because if people steal my templates at least there is some “credit” of my work.
In some templates I tried to reduce the disk size even further (but not all and you can expand it yourself on your machine).
No updates at all are made.
Boot to Ubuntu and export the image to my website and that’s it.
It’s super important to disable to default administrator and create a new admin account. Do the updates and change the rdp to most secure. And to change the default RDP Port.

This made me think I should take down those templates and do new ones with updates installed and provide SHA1 like @jmgcaguicla said
