Hetzner - can someone share lshw/hwinfo from a Ryzen box?
Hi folks,
I'm trying to compare a few services providers and decide based on the underlying hardware. Unfortunately full hardware info is not readily available with most providers.
Can someone with a AX41-NVMe or AX51-NVMe share full hardware specs? On Linux you can get this by running 'lshw' or 'hwinfo'.
Cheers

This should do it?
Thank you, did not see this before!
It doesn't details the brand of motherboard/RAM/etc., so that would still be helpful from anyone else.
Brand/motherboard used is 100% irrelevant which is why basically no provider lists that info. Its either the specs you need for a task or not.
They probably use the X470D4U ASRock Rack motherboard
From a few old threads:
(2) ASRockRack B450D4U-V1L
(1) MicroStar B450M-S01 (MS-7B90)
RAM was Samsung once.
Motherboard is ASRockRack B450D4U-V1L
Drives are SAMSUNG MZVLB512
Think that was my AX41-NVMe. I've got an AX51 I can check if required too.
Thank you. This is the sort of information which is important. It's helpful to know these are 'enterprise' grade drives even if it is on the low-end. I've had plenty of experience with Clouvider's Samsung MZ7LM240 (PM863) drives and really like them.
Are those DIMMs running at 2666MHz or have they been clocked down to 1333MHz?
Would really appreciate if you could share the RAM details on both.
I am looking to evaluate component reliability so this is important to me.
@MarshalChe @Mr_Tom do your Ryzen boxes have any sort of IPMI?
Here's my AX41-NVMe: https://paste.ee/r/s4d0q/0
Drives are SAMSUNG_MZVLB512HBJQ (PM981a I think)
From an AX42-NVMe:

I have some Toshiba SSDs it seems: KXG60ZNV512G TOSHIBA (Toshiba XG6 512GB? https://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-KXG60ZNV512G-512GB-22x80mm-1DWPD/dp/B07WL736HK)
They won’t be listing brands of hardware as the likeliness is (especially in current climate) that it’ll be very varied depending on availability and cost. There’s no guarantee they’ll give you the exact brand of hardware you’re expecting based off of what others have in this thread
Thank you, both
Choice of hardware seems pretty reliable, minus the drives which could be better.
Overall these Hetzner Ryzen builds seem like a solid choice.
I will be ordering this weekend
They don't use the some hardware on every amd servers , so don't expect to get the some hardware !
I know, but I can expect some consistency.
Hetzner doesnt provide it. You can ask for free IP-KVM when you need. From its panel you can manage power and install OSes.
