@OVH_APAC Please offer some option to migrate from the old range while retaining the IP.
Hello @Shubham1337
There will be a migration functionality soon for VPS, you will receive an email once it is ready if you have a VPS from the older range. Let me double confirm regarding the IP. Thanks
Got one. Time to say bye to my $18/yr USA OVH vps.
Oh God, 3 days using menu in dashboard only to change Reverse DNS hehehe
Why don't I see these plans on the US OVH?
Hello @MechanicWeb , it will be released soon on our US portal too.
Any idea, on how soon that might be?
If it is a few days, I can wait.
High chance that it happens this week but let me source out a clearer ETA.
Hello @cazrz , I have already suggested you to PM me, please do so with your account ID and contact details. I cannot help without any details.
That would be great. I will keep an eye on this thread in case you provide an update.
I think my comments on the other thread should be moved in here instead as a more appropriate. However, my comments posted on this thread was removed instead, and on the other thread the comments has remained.
I am simply a customer that wants access to account and support ticket.
thanks
I'm also suffering from the issue where if you download more than 750mbit/s from a single IP, you trigger the anti-ddos and get a useless VPS for 10 mins.
If that was fixed it would be a decent server.
Hello @Zom , Have you created a ticket via your control panel to advise about this? if yes, please PM me the ticket and will forward to the right team.
@OVH_APAC Do you offer CentOS 6 in the Panel? I know it's soon EOL, but it's not yet I don't see it in the Order page.
@OVH_APAC can we use max 2Gbps in VPS range “Elite” in BHS with all time (for VOD stream)?
New OVH VPS now out of stock in the UK?
The server and network is really good, I'm using a Comfort in DE, one and the only issue I'm facing is their anti-ddos being trigger as soon as you do speedtest or even benchmark (network) I had my server being switch to mitigation at least 3 times since I have the server (+- 20 days used only for personal work)
Edit: while trying "curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/masonr/yet-another-bench-script/master/yabs.sh | bash" the server as been placed in mitigation again after first network test (which was at a good 950mb/down 900mb/up) after that network is marked as busy (I guess their anti-ddos block it?)
iPerf and other "dumb" benchmarks are routinely flagged as DoS. Just use something else, perhaps more realistic.
Sorry @gestiondbi , only centos 7 and 8.
As long as you don't breach T&Cs. (https://www.ovh.com/asia/support/contracts/ )
hello,
can you explain more? i can't found rule for that Q
It basically means, don't stream pirated shit.. and if you do, don't get caught so it affects the host, and if you do, respond to the takedown notices when requested according to the industry standard.
Any news about setting the reverse for the VPS servers?
It seems to be impossible via the panel due to error.
I also tried setting it via API and got this following message:
Reverse subdomain.domain.net. for xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is already setted.
However it does not appear in my IP management, and neither it does on nslookup. the reverse actually never changes.
@OVH_APAC So the USA Datacenter's will be active this week?
Tried this?

I got it working with OVH Tools.
Hello @MechanicWeb , you can now also get the new range of VPS hosted in our US datacenters, exclusively via our US portal (it will require a new registration):https://us.ovhcloud.com/vps/
for those who prefer VPS hosted in Asia pacific, europe or Canada simply go to: https://www.ovhcloud.com
@OVH_APAC Thanks a lot for keeping note of my request.
I will definitely get one.
Is the mitigation over 950mbps still happening?
