Cost Effective and Reliable Hosting Provider
The_Choice

Hello there,
We have 8 websites running on WordPress CMS. We are planning to move to a more cost effective and reliable hosting provider. Any recommendation will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Smallweb from @Mic-hael is pretty reliable and has lots of good BF offers that you can check out here
budget/month?
We have some BF deals too on our DirectAdmin hosting.

for most Reliable and Cost Effective is @AnthonySmith if you are a good client then you will be in the best hands. Check his BF offers https://inceptionhosting.com/limited-offers.html
Between $6 to $8 /m
Buyvm?
What location are you looking for?
The cheap deal I bought from inception last year appeared massively oversold a few weeks after BF. But it was HDD + OpenVZ, I can imagine that the problem is lower on the higher end VPSs.
I'd recommend @SmartHost - but their current special is too big for your needs. Dunno if @Clouvider's deal on his cloud is still valid (60% off) but if so that can be a good option. @LiteServer seems solid as well. It depends what you need (specs & location).
Edit: thinking about VPSs but maybe you're looking for managed shared hosting?
I am not familiar with latest hosting specs / standards. For the last 10 years, we are with 1and1's shared hosting package. We are located in Canada. How important is location when it comes to hosting? Our websites are hosted on WP and get ~ 3000 views daily.

This is nice too, but it's on LA and Germany
You should get a server closest to you
All depends which market you are trying to serve. If its Canada then somewhere in Canada or the US. But if its elsewhere then maybe an EU location might be nice.
Check the whitelist in my signature. All of them are reliable.
Location: try to stay close to where most of your userbase is located.
With this traffic, with good caching you don't need huge specs. Many possibilities for you, with this budget. Do you want shared hosting or a VPS?

did you open a ticket?
Nope, I moved most of my stuff to a better VM and used this one for some static file storage (i.e for what it could do well).
As my userbase is not restricted to US / Canada, I believe I will go with EU location. I rather go with VPS if it provides same features / interface as Shared hosting.
Not the same features: you'd have to manage it yourself or find a managed VPS and it's gonna cost more. But that means that you can tweek it so that it performs better, and have more resources allocated to yourself that what you would have with shared.
Maybe a good (and quite beefy) shared would be what you'd like if you don't want to get your hands dirty...
In that case, I will stick to shared hosting (perhaps able to find quite beefy one). Do you have any recommendations?
In EU I'd say Netcup. They have nice shared plans. Dunno if they have specials running for those. @Clouvider should be a great option as well, they might offer you something if you ask nicely, they have a thread focused on dedicated servers but might offer coupons for other services later. Other can probably chime in with other recs.
@Mic-hael
Thanks for the recommendation!
Shared, with 100% SLA on Black Friday offer @
We also offer Free Direct Licensing if you decided a VPS or Dedicated server was more suitable and wanted to roll your own server.
@The_Choice if their medium plan fits your needs (how much bw do you need?) you probably can't go wrong. That being said @Clouvider if I try I end up with "This coupon cannot be applied to your order"...
@datanoise try now, more uses added.
BTW @Clouvider are the limits of your plans (i/o, ram...) listed somewhere? Thanks!
I'll have to double check and confirm them, they are more than accommodating for shared hosting though.
If you need cpanel, we offer cpanel shared hosting in London.
