Bing search gets blocked in China.
Despite the fact that bing has been trying to follow China's rules and laws, they still got kicked out of the market from china users.

Great news.
seems like it is indeed blocked. lel, bing was garbage in china anyway.
china > world.
for its residents:
Who?
Did Bing ever take off?
I am sure he has in MS' mind though.
Is there any market that actually used bing?
I am pretty sure even MS employees used Google.

Any software engineer worth his salt uses the best tool for the job.
But, you work for Microsoft, so..
Just don’t let the manager see and you’re 100% golden.
If only the US would follow
China sees Google.
China learns.
China produces own Google knock off and blocks the real Google.
Not really. What is so similar? Or was it just a rhetorical statement about China knocking off IP. The USA was famous for it in the 19th century.
Bing is still existing?
Bing is the best porn search engine.
You don't get the same quality search result with Google.
noted, thanks
Why is suddenly everyone surprised of Bing being blocked in China? Or any media suppression in that country. China is largely a communist country, but we can't talk too much about that as there's no oil and the west relies too much on them . I've got a better idea, let's discuss North Korea instead .
@ErikEnoctus
It's more of a quasi-communist state at this point -- many government services are provided free, but there exits private healthcare, businesses, etc which are characteristic of a capitalist society.
Update: Microsoft's search engine Bing has been restored in China after being inaccessible in the country for almost two days. According to sources familiar with the matter, Bing was blocked due to an accidental technical error and not due to an attempt at censorship.
Bing US is pretty decent actually, but if you change your location to any other country they basically become sh*t.
So i searched for the word "porn" on bing and among the first results came this RT article. Well, i am not disappointed at all and i haven't even red the text yet.
They have later stated it was a technical reason and Bing was unblocked in China.
In fact Yndex is way better (just try it ) BTW the block removed
嗨,你是伟大的人
Searched in bing, Nothing found.
Search for google.
Maybe Bing blocked China.. too many disputes over a free service?
