Can you tell us a simple reason on choosing this provider to host your needs (I suppose you use them for production stuff and you have not any disaster plan, to open a thread with these words)?
Started providing services in October, probably deceased in January.
winter is coming.
thats my fault didn't check their profile 1st before made purchasing
luckily i didn't store any valuable item in this vps, but there is waste of money USD20/y for it.
Well, their whole DNS seems to be down..
https://dns.google.com/query?name=www.bigpowerhosting.com&type=A&dnssec=true
https://dns.google.com/query?name=ns1.bigpowerhosting.com&type=A&dnssec=true
I will take the blame.
Theyre gone, not hard to pick em now days.
yeah VPS is not reachable
seemed like they could go either way ... maybe they still could, who knows.
welp. good luck with your big power.
I'm sorry for your loss.
That's exactly what
backupspotatoes are for.I bought 2 to help them grow... hahaha
i think the whole rack were down that include their firewall/dns/switch/server
still no response from @bigpowerhost maybe today is still sunday to him/her and he/she still enjoy his/her vacation probably
I received an email from Bigpowerhosting a few days ago saying a new guy took over it.
the end was nigh 1800 utc ago
Screenshot or equal please.

right, i also got that email on the same day. a new management changes doesn't proof anything if this outages keep going on. right now its already 12hours and still no response either from the network nor the email notification.
actually this is the 3rd time happened. 1st and 2nd were short-time less than hour, where both of it caused by a server crash as they said. but this time is a winner where it took half a day. maybe i need to wait a day?
should i ask for a refund or at least an extension of service expiration length?
Thanks.
EDIT2:
Nice typo.
Or you could say - Bigpowerhosting lost power
CHARGEBACKKKKKKKKK
Yes.
They look(ed) promising and I took 2 VPS, one for intermediate backups/manual failover, the other for DNS only trials. Speedy network and accommodating Support.
A debacle with my existing main VPS meant I had thought to use them as my main host. I raised a Ticket at the start of the weekend, with a few questions and it remains unanswered.
There goes my cheap cPanel VPS & DNS cluster, by the looks of things.
@deank come back - you may be right all along!
James Harden is too busy with basketball than to run BIGPOWERHOST
as he said in the takeover email notification: > We are going to be working through those issues this week
i hope this downtime were "his working for those issue"
like the x-files... i want to believe...
It might be my second chargeback. First one was serverhand a year ago.
already 23 hours... an hour to a day.. should be change to SMALLWEAKHOSTING! @bigpowerhost .!.
bad joke, man
I will chargeback tomorrow
Chargeback now.
I'm going to wait 72 hrs before I start a chargeback.
I would like to give them a chance at least, but I kinda have a bad feeling at this point with no announcement or response in 24hrs
