Thanks for reading the thread,
have a nice day.

Comments
Thanks, you too.
cannot add ip.
Everytime I need to see this, it makes IPv6 look much more uggly than it actually is.
Can't we call it
instead?
Sorry for OT, nice offers anyway.
Size matters!
IPv4 or ipv6 with the dedicatedser servers and how many?
Nice offer
Two questions:
EDIT: nevermind, already ordered the last 16GB one for $16
EDIT: 2 new questions:
what are the KVM host specs, specifically those 4 CPU cores (what's the CPU)?
and by "cores", do you mean real cores or threads?
I took the 16GB RAM dedi to use as a dedicated database backend, where lots of RAM is more important than CPU specs. Now I need a few KVM's close by to run different web apps, where CPU power really counts, hence my questions...
only one ip. can't add ip
Hi,
Default, there is one IPv4 ip address with dedicate server, and can be assign IPv6 ip address(one by one) as client requested.
Additional IPv4 package is $80.00/16 IPv4/month.
Hi,
Client can order more IPv4 IP address, but not cheap, because additional IPv4 package is $80.00/16 IPv4/month,
Wait, 16 ip or a /16 ?
All dedicated servers are out of stock.
16 IPv4
$5 per one ipv4... so, I take it that BGP session is out of the question then?
What are the KVM node specs? Specifically, those 4 CPU cores - what CPU? And by "cores", do you mean real cores or threads?
Dual E5-2670 not sure about the BGP part
2x E5-2670 gives total 16 cores, 32 threads. Your KVM offer states shared 4 cores... to be sure, is that 4 of the 16 cores, or 4 of the 32 threads?
Obviously, it's not dedicated cores, shared in the sense you'd get out of those 32 threads.
Okay, obviously I'm too uninformed here... can anyone tell me how does one E5-2670 with 8 cores compare to an Atom C2750 with its 8 cores?
I know there's a big difference in favor of the E5, but how big a difference exactly? Running web apps / PHP specifically. No database (offloaded to a separate box)... Ballpark, will the Atom's processing power equal that of the E5's 1 cores? 2 cores? 4 cores?
@aglodek https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Atom+C2750+@+2.40GHz&id=2185
https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Xeon+E5-2670+@+2.60GHz&id=1220
Single thread rating of Atom is 584, single thread rating of E5 is 1570. Total passmark is 3806 vs 12137, respectively.
May as well compare them instead of doing each one separate, https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare/Intel-Atom-C2750-vs-Intel-Xeon-E5-2670/2185vs1220
Thanks @gol3m @rajprakash @wtfcook
Decided to go with a couple more Atom dedis instead of VPS's
It is not a typo, the 4 cores are Dell, and they have implemented CPU core licensing. You can read here: https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/bg/en/bgbsdt1/poweredge-fm120/fm120x4om/processor-core-licensing?guid=guid-7a79b9a8-1160-4be5-a2cf-c1b9649abaa7&lang=en-us
We have the 4 core licenses.
Unfortunately no.
E5-2690v2 or E5-2670 depending on which node you will get. 4 cores are not dedicated, but allocated on a fair use basis. Don't abuse it.
vCPU a.k.a shared cores.
Dedicated may be better suited for your web apps.
Thanks for you comprehensive reply and explanations. I have already ordered another dedicated server with Dr Server
How did you screw up and miss the chance to call it an "SSDedi"?
How about "SSDeddy"?
SSDaddy. Oh wait...
SSPapi
Yahhhh baby
