Any good alternative for LiteSpeed? Except Nginx

Cherokee, Lighttpd. But these options are far less superior to NGINX or APACHE.
If you are not willing to pay, OpenLiteSpeed is always the choice. Other alternatives, like Apache, are not even close in terms of performance.
Caddy! https://caddyserver.com/
Hiawatha https://www.hiawatha-webserver.org/
+1 for Hiawatha
great web server, ideal for hostbill users as Hiawatha can stop SQL injections, XSS and CSRF attacks and exploit attempts.
Hiawatha is great. I always liked it, when I used it.
Is it compatible with cPanel/whm ?
No. Maybe as a proxy, but certainly not worth the trouble.
Do you know any paid alternative?
It is highly unlikely you are going to find any other webservers that work with cpanel minus the default ones of Litespeed, nginx, apache.

No, sorry didn't realize you needed cpanel as well.
Engintron if you need whm
That's Nginx.
Those are cherokee and Lighttpd bro
For cpanel/WHM there is no better alternative than LiteSpeed. Just go with LiteSpeed with out of box QUIC/TLS 1.3 support and better performance out of the box.
Can we ask the reasoning of not just going with LiteSpeed?
If it comes down to the costs of the software, then you most likely don't need LiteSpeed anyway :-)
Apache is fine if your hardware is good enough.
Litespeed hardly seems worth while these days... especially if your servers have tons of cores.
No. Unless you tell us more about your reasons and reasoning.
Xvarnish / cachewall
There also is a new Free Starter license now in the Enterprise edition.
Depends on your use-case, but Apache with the event MPM and PHP-FPM may suit your needs. Tends to run better than out-of-the-box Apache, and has a familiar setup (eg: config drop-ins with the usual Apache stuff). You lose out on mod_php, but that's fine since it's apparent you don't need it.
Apache can be made to run pretty well with some care, the main problem with it is that it tries to suit too many things out of the box. Take out the modules you don't need, adjust the event MPM settings as appropriate for your resources, and you should be set.
edit:
I see that you need it to work with cPanel - good news is, Apache+event MPM is probably the next best performance option behind litespeed/nginx. I'm not aware of anything else that works with cPanel, at least simply.
It's been years since I worked on cPanel, but back in the day you basically used 'EasyApache' to rebuild Apache on cPanel boxes the way you need. This is how I'd 'tune' Apache on cPanel boxes for the most part.
Update - I found one apachebooster.com
what's your review of it ?
Apache booster is god awful and has a history of being vulnerable and fail out of nowhere because of awful management of the software it includes... But sure if you like that type :-) Go for it.
Damn good!
It works with Nginx + Varnish which will boost your server performance at its peak
Yummy, it sounds like the perfect companion to VestaCP!
LiteSpeed does this but even better and without any of the issues mentioned by @Zerpy.
just avoid it - it's a poorly coded rip off of unixy varnish cache whm/cpanel plugin

Stick with Litespeed for cpanel/WHM as better alternative to Apache. Especially, if the other non-LiteSpeed alternatives require a deeper level of configuration and understanding than what you have yourself.
Yes! And with a little luck ... just imagine the marriage ... and the offspring!
Yes, but is "not having[/wanting] issues" in the VestaCP context not somewhat like "do not take a swim in liquid manure in Illinois! The weather there can be ugy. Do it in Texas or Arizona!"?
