I know you mentioned you were having network issues with Continuum, how bad exactly are they and would that apply to this as well?
Yeah, when DDoS happens to some customer, the network goes down for a minute or two before they nullroute the IPs.
Oktay
@serverian any of their customers?
Please tell the status of the continuum issue. Can I get 5 IPs?
Can we bid on buying the hardware?
When a large DDoS comes like 5-6Gbps, it saturates their line and therefore packet losses happen until they nullroute the IPs.
Yes, for $1 each.
PM me.
Others may offer to buy additional upgrades?
What do you need?
$22.
This is largely due to the fact that Continuum's backbone is a mere 10 Gbps.
Yeah, however they are going to do a upgrade soon it seems. Maybe they'll add more blend.
location?
Lombard (Near Chicago)
Does this mean i own the hardware and can move it out of the datacenter if i want?
This is rented.
sigh.... Ill pass then.
You got the server for 100 bucks and you are renting it out at 22 bucks per month...that's pretty good money

I think so, too.
Come on show us some love.
How is this even allowed here?
Why shouldn't it be?
How much is the current bid? You also opened an auction at vpsboard, do you have more than 1 server? Otherwise how would the winner be chosen?
@serverian: Is it can use like regular or not?
Because it's not the LEB price, or is there an dedicated server leb price?
Plus it's not really an auction if you start @ $22,-
@DalComp, it's $22 from @seraphkz
I've just posted this thread's url there to have the official bidding here. There is only one of these at the moment. I can however get more if there is a need.
@gizzvn, sure it can. It's a dedicated server.
@ztec, there is a dedicated server leb price. Only domain auctions should be started at $7. How it's not an auction when I start at $22?
What's wrong with people on LET these days?
Bid retracted with OP's permission
@DalComp, I've just ran some tests. The SSD looks slow for some reason.
root@atom:~# dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync; unlink test
16384+0 records in
16384+0 records out

Beware.
Edit: I've found out that, that's the same as its spec:

However, the read speed is nice.
It has some neat iops:
