Does anyone know where I can get these cases and how they are called?
Heya,
Looking to build a little gaming rig for my living room which should be really tiny and I'd very much like to use a case like the MSI Trident Arctic 3 uses but I have no idea where I can find such cases or how they are called (caseking, alternate wouldn't have them).
Does anyone know where I can get such cases or how they are called so I can look for them?

Are you searching for small cases like this https://www.caseking.de/gehaeuse-und-modding/computer-gehaeuse/htpc-gehaeuse/passiv-gekuehlte-htpc-gehaeuse or do you need the exact same case as on the image?
HTPC
Oh lol I guess I'm blind. Well doesn't need to be exactly the same but yeah I was looking for that flat style-ish sorta case in similar size and well it shouldn't look suuper boring :P
Htpc or mini itx case. Silverstone make some.
This looks very much like something I was looking for

Keep in mind that most of these cases are designed for very low-power systems and are therefore not particularly well-cooled.
Found these
Akasa Cypher Mini ITX Case
Phoenix Technologies Phnx Toem Mini ITX Barebone Mini ITX Computer Case
Akasa Euler Mini ITX Case
Thanks for the help so far guys! Will probably put it together on PC Part-picker and update every now and then :P
This was also a good read: https://www.gamespot.com/g00/articles/how-to-build-your-own-steam-box/1100-6393863/?i10c.encReferrer=&i10c.ua=1&i10c.dv=14

Idk but the two times I've had an AMD rig things didn't work out and driver issues etc kept popping up^^
AMD drivers have gotten much better
I would go with a Ryzen 5 2400G or Ryzen 3 2200G, good CPU and GPU all in one. Plus, please dont use ASrock motherboards. Bad reputation and experiences with them..
Interesting :P I've been using an ASRock and it was quite the good experience
If you want powerfull mini gaming PC from Asus, assembled, with some more money, but I7, double RAM, double SSD, branded, and much fancier with colors: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075LD98X7/
You can also get also get a lower and cheaper version: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WLHT15C/
Or you can simply get a gaming laptop... from last year BlizzCon?

I'll keep that in mind although picking own parts is more fun :P I mean I could also go with the MSI Trident 3 in the OP for 700€ish but just playing around with pcpartpicker atm
If you are going to play games, you'd be better with ryzen 5 1600 than the i5
I got a good gaming rig already. This one is just for takeaway (LAN Partys) and living room (either steam link or some casual games). On this one I'm just gonna play the likes of LoL, CSGO, Hearthstone, Fifa
GT1030+ryzen3 should be fine to play those games
I use ASRock boards almost exclusively for they usually have Intel NICs.
Never had any issues with them.

Depends really on what you need. Intel still bulldozes AMD (see what I did there?) on single-thread performance.
To be fair, AMD single-thread performance has risen (see what I did there?) since the era you're referencing.
