Buy a USB stick?
Wait you need your files safe... but only want to spend $1 a month?
Yes.I saw ipxcore.com had this plans.but now, this plans is not available
You're kidding.
Gmail / Skydrive doesnt suit you?
You can also get free 20+GB space forever from Copy by following my sig link and installing their software on your computer.
Check out the link in my sig, should suit your need just fine.
An even better option for backing up that small of data would be some of the free online cloud storage places.
Why not just get something like Box, Copy, Skydrive or Google Drive? I know for a fact Box.com supports WebDav, I'm using it right now.
Http://lowendbox.com has a few, mostly annual plans.
Copy.com is suitable for you.
some of these providers have restrictions, like box max file size is 250mb.
are there any providers which do not have file size limits (or limit is large >1GB) and allow you do download files directly from the internet, rather than having to download it to my pc and then uploading it to the storage site?

I can do a $12/yr. and a RAID-10 diskspace
BuyVM $15/yr 15GB RAID10. Once you get that, you also can sign up for free BuyVM+ which gets you an additional 5GB off-server space for backups of your 15GB RAID10 space. BuyVM has an established history of very good service here on LEB/LET.
USB stick sounds like the best option for that.
