Hey guys, I was thinking of going with BuyShared.net for my first gig, but after e-mailing them twice in the past week to inquire about their 1G shared hosting service. They never responded once.
Not good.
What are alternatives out there? Take it easy on me! I am new to web hosting and new to lowendtalk.

Did you create a sales ticket? I have been a long time customer and they always answered my tickets either support or sales with reasonable timeframe.
No, I used their "Chat with support" from their website. Thanks!
@misterchew Yeah open a sales ticket. It will get answered.

@Francisco
oops already did by others
Heyo,
Did you put a valid email on the live support?
Since I'm remote for the time being I don't have a 2nd monitor and all that to run it on, but I try to always reply to all offline messages.
If you're still interested you're welcome to drop me a PM and I'll try to answer your questions!

From experience will recommend host4half Fast and free migration provided.
If you're looking for something to get you started, you may be interested in 1GB for £0.84/Year https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/142067/0-84-yr-cpanel-shared-hosting-ssd-uk-us
You're thinking about the 1G plan with BuyShared, right? That's 5 USD per YEAR. Not per month, but per YEAR. My advice: Just get it!
Yes, just get it. Don't cross Francisco. He will be running for USA 2020.
Can recommend Hoost and Buyshared. Both great providers for shared hosting.
What am I? A Clinton?
You don't have to worry about ending up in a ditch.

@Francisco
I need to buy ur shit but ur out of stock
y u do dis
Buyshared will work just fine in your case, not to mention @Francisco will help you himself and sorting you out. I don't see any other host as good as his at it's price.
Regards, Armand
He keeps costs down by not buying stuff to sell.
That or the literal scarcity of the stock always being out incentivizes people themselves to buy early month.
Hah!
The massive stack of CPU's next to me says otherwise

Considering that I kept one of their $15/year VPSs for a long time even though I wasn't using it because I knew how long I waited to get it I'd say you have a very good argument.
Server porn or I call you a liar! :P
I've been posting node pictures on Hostballs. I have a small build log of the storage nodes.

For LU I hope
We have server in US, UK, EU, Canada and Australia. - https://dewlance.com/sharedhosting (Powerful server)
I've used Buyshared for years and it's great. I'll also put in a plug for @Virmach vpshared.com $3/y shared hosting plan since they gave me one for free during the Easter promo (iirc the requirement was having an existing paid VPS with them). I'm not using it yet (I do plan to) but the other stuff I have with them is all good.
you cant go wrong buyshared, stable service.
