lol,
in the future
Quite literally nobody knows.
Confirmed, the 15th of some point in the year twenty maybe.
@OnApp_Terry
1 March. Year is still not revealed.
As they got bought by onapp I think they will never release a new mayor version and if their code quality is like their database layout I am very glad about that.
SolusVM 2.0 will be released on the 1st of April, 2018. Save the date already!
3020 ?
My prediction is that SolusVM 2 will be released sometime before 32-bit systems end on January 19, 2038.
2020 is the earliest. My casual guess is 2037.
Soon™
One day before colocrossing ipv6 implementation
who is care anymore as the company can't fulfil the promise (they mentioned that they will release it a couple years back)? it will be impossible to migrate from v1 by the time they do develop it.
Only to hard-crash in 2038 due to int32 time.
Official Response from SolusVM: We don't know when it will be released, We also can't provide ETA. (Response over chat).
Their official responses vary. When on PMS, they will claim "big news coming" in upcoming month. When off PMS, "can't provide ETA".
Already switched to others, I don't believe a team which can't even fix a simple VM disk resize issue can get any progress on its 2.0 version.
OnApp has effectively stated 2.0 isn't happening.
Really? https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/2508962/#Comment_2508962
If they've spent years (years!) unable to deliver any credible timeline that a product is ever going to be released (while simultaneously investing in competing products), then I'd say that's "effectively stating 2.0 isn't happening".
Yeah, I'm being cute with the word "effective" but really, isn't that what's happened?
Everything owned by OnApp worth basically nothing. I hope someone marked my words when I said cloud.net will die...
OnApp flagship product works great, we’re extremely happy with them.
