Dang, Bittorrent sync looks really cool.
It looks like proxmox
Very cool offer Too bad it is so far My network to US doesnt go much over 4 MB/s and this will make mounting live drives a bit of a pain.
This make me confuse.
Which the best..
Openfiler, FreeNAS, Open Media Vault and Turnkey Linux Fileserver?
Freenas is a beast, I use it mostly for the raidz feature, but has all protocols you can dream of.
Openfiller comes close and is linux.
The other two i never tried, didnt feel the need having freenas and OF as alternatives.
@Maounique Thanks
But I stuck with
I press enter on OK but nothing happen.
Help me please.
Not at the moment.
FreeNAS looks like a lot of fun. I grow more tempted by this offer by the minute...
I came across this several times
And
FreeNAS currently fail to be installed, confirmed by Mr. Kilic. But I believe that won't stop you to register backupsy.com
@perennate - it is, works better and faster than SkyDrive (which routinely spikes my CPU)
@serverian Transfer from your test server to Buyvm Las Vegas looks good.
(8.04 MB/s) - “100MB.test” saved
(7.25 MB/s) - “1000MB.test” saved
Like others. I'm thinking this would be a great mirror target for the buyvm storage vps, using Bittorrent's new Sync utility.
How do I go about determining transfer rate in the reverse direction?
PM you a http link? or has someone on this thread already determined this transfer rate?
@opskode, yes, please PM me a link and I'll check it for you.
@opskode I have bought this service so can do a test transfer for you if you send me the link
@Noerman, the FreeNAS issue has been fixed. It seems it doesn't recognize virtio drivers. Let me know if you want to install FreeNAS.
@serverian Awesome, I will create a ticket when something bad happen.
KVM500 @ backupsy.com Benchmark Report
serverbear.com/benchmark/2013/04/26/UA2ZHuEarMkzau9p
Everyone are hunger for online storage.
We have stock at the moment.
For anyone debating purchasing/interested in trying Backupsyy out, I no longer had a use for mine and rather than requesting a refund I asked @serverian if he'd create a promo code so someone can get their first month of KVM250 on me (then $5 thereafter). First come first serve, promo code is V5FY83RR1K (1 use). Once you use it, you'll need to create a ticket and get the price manually adjusted to $5 (instead of $10).
