Help needed in installing Horde on CentOS
I have searched everywhere and haven't found a proper tutorial on how to install the latest Horde webmail on a CentOS 6.4 machine. The links/tutorials I found are old, for centos 4, and older version of Horde.
I want to setup a mail server to be used by around 30 people. Google Apps and the like are proving to be expensive ($5 per user per month). With 30 x $5 = $150, I could even get a dedicated server, and use it for other purposes too.
So, please point me to a tutorial, or please advice me if Horde is a bad choice.
By the way, is hosting a mail server on a VPS a bad choice?
Thanks.

why you dont install any control panel, like webmin or another?
What about using something like iRedMail?
Use Yandex, it is free.
Until you need to speak to someone. yandex is operated by robots who won't remove my IP from their blacklist and sends copypaste replies
Why on earth do you want to use Horde?

+1 use Roundcube and just let it go
No it's not.
Its only for mail, so I thought I would not need any other control panel.
The iRedMail webmail version does not look to be free.
Roundcube has a nice interface and all, but could you tell me if it has a administration backend which has the options to manage users, create groups, etc?
Outlook.com...??

@Drukpa You can figure out from this http://www.howtoforge.com/install-horde-4-webmail-for-ispconfig-on-debian-squeeze-through-pear
The installation basic using pear is the same, as long as you have set your Centos with apache, php, pear, mysql, and pop3/imap server properly.
You will learn something if you make any mistake.
IMHO the best solution is iRedmail, better interface to manage accounts and webmail.
