    Here comes a quick benchtest:
    Node: Kansas city kvm 256MB
    I/O speed uuuuultra slow, "apt-get update && apt-get upgrade" took about 30 min.

    @I/O: hmm... this server is running on (quite old) USB flashDrive? or? :-O

    Am.. Am.. I the only one here that thinks that's incredibly strange? These aren't even nvme hard drives. Any caching is essentially pointless at that point.

    Anyone care to do a memory test? I have a hard time believing swap is being actually used for primary ram

    dude thanks for reply.. i know, i bought already a lot VPS with loc choose through WHMCS
    but issue is this guy does not haves this option available / configured (said YES but does have not.... he does not know what he really have set up probably)

    PLS TRY add any values (for pass, hostaname, rootpass and ns) in form on page i mentioned and TRY CLICK NEXT or CHECKOUT

    there is nothing more - for location choice

    or i`m totally BLIND or i have different order page??

    If it's this difficult to order something from them, maybe you should just not buy it. You'd save yourself a headache in the long run anyway, trust me.

    I really wanted try order small KVM 256 from this seller (i need many cheap KVM vps for many websites, from seo reason requires have each one on different C-class IPv4), but when here are so many issues it is stronger then than my patience and time budget for hosting solve.. (i`m writing & asking related w this offer more than half day and results is still NOTHING) So i mean u r exactly right what u wrote. And i can say from my experiences too - when many issues are already in begin and things are not running quick & easy, all next will be probably disasters, and waste of money, nerves and times.

    Thanks guys for all yr shares and opinions, useful to avoid do useless mistake for another users ( incl. me )

    To do a quick ram speed test on this setup you can go to the home directory for your user and do the following:

    mkdir RAM_test

sudo mount tmpfs -t tmpfs RAM_test/  # mount the tmpfs filesystem

cd RAM_test

dd if=/dev/zero of=data_tmp bs=1M count=512  # write to RAM test

dd if=data_tmp of=/dev/null bs=1M count=512

for reference this on a proper Ram setup gives between 3.2GB/s and 8.4 GB/s

    Run it twice for consistency. If your getting anything below 700MB/s then this is really crazy.. I just don't want hosts starting to believe they can pass off SWAP memory as "Ram"... it's not. Fortunately this host does clearly note it, but I'm just surprised it's even a thing.

    I ordered and paid via Bitcoin, it may have not been their problem, but once paid, their site not confirmed payment receipt and returned "invalid" message.
    After 7 hours (in sunday) i received support ticket reply and VPS login details.
    I can not ping the VPS. SolusVM login works, and is only accessible via insecure HTTP. They granted VPS quite weak non random password by default.
    I was unable to select VPS location, operating system on order. But the price was very good.
    In SolusVM i see the KVM VPS location is Kansas and OS is Centos 7.3 64 BIT. When i run option "Reconfigure Networking" it said "Unknown Error".
    When i try "Reinstall" option, it says "No media found for this virtual server". After 20 minutes they fixed OS templates (on Kansas node). But reinstallation do not bring VPS online. Now waiting 24 hours for them to respond and fix the VPS that i was unable to connect since order. I will update here.

    2 days silence on my ticket. Fortunately i found how to make VPS working. In SolusVM, click to manage VPS, go to Settings tab, change Network card to Intel PRO/1000, disk driver to "ide", and then click "Reconfigure networking", then "Reboot" button.

    My speed test (Kansas KVM x3host):

    (wget -qO- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/teddysun/across/master/bench.sh | bash)

    Might be good if x3host add Centos 7 and Latest Ubuntu KVM 32bit templates. Currently only Centos7 64b and ubuntu 14 64b. no 32b.

    Thanks for the tips , Centos 7 is exist on your SolusVM area management. Please confirm or i'll check it for you.

    I'll update you guys with the ram tests , But I'm sure everything is ok we use a server with 64 GB Ram.

    ALL VPS'S comes with ssh access this is by default!

    If you can't SSH your VPS please update your ticket,

    And i'll look into this for you.
