This is where people realize that raid 0 is bad I suspect.
My backup server with SYS was down, but didn't loose power.
11:03:26 up 207 days, 12:33, 1 user, load average: 0.10, 0.04, 0.05
I'm hoping the same. Still can access my SYS servers in SBG1.
I wonder what the reason was.
My best guess, Russia. Who else could it be? ;-)
I'm wondering whether to reboot or not? http://travaux.ovh.net/vms/index_sbg1.html says my rack is up but I still can't ping or SSH my servers.
I have tried to reboot but it didn't worked. I mean getting error in OVH interface
I think I'll give it a little more time. The CP says the servers are 'OK' so I'm praying it's just a case of fixing connectivity.
Really: you being a competitor, this really is bad style.
Really bad style.
but but
!!
any updates about SBG4 37.187.X.X ?
My VPS is in SBG4 and it's still down

Kindly wait while the host node does
fsck
. (LOL)I'm glad all I have is my backup storage in RBX. To everyone else, sorry. But just keep your cool. Stuff like this happens even to the biggest. Let it all settle, then ask questions.
13/15 of my cloud instances are up again in SBG
Yeah but it's ridiculous - more than 5 hours outage and NO ETA when it's coming back
I don't think that Amazon AWS faces these kind of problems
No one here is "really" competing, its just a bit of criticism

Seeing all my ovh stuff is online, no server restart was there so actually not really a complete power failure, probably time for them to rethink their routing strategy as I can think of they have some single point of failure which failed...
You are talking about Strasbourg, right?
Update:
According to them this were two different issues that were independet from each other and just happened to occur at a similar time.
Clouvider your business seems not to be so well? You have so much time complaining about other providers that it seems you have to much time ...
Epic picture from VMS.
Or their infrastructure is running so well that they do not have to spend much time fixing their crappy stuff.
Well he is so small that can’t be this hard to handle it. But he seems to like to complain about others and how much better he do.
Happy that all of my servers are in Gravelines, how lucky!
Hope that they fix the problem soon, according to their twitter status update there's still many servers offline.
@Clouvider has high standards, guys... that's all
OVH just let their entire location go down without working generators in place. That's embarrassing (and inexcusable) for a company that has raised billions in VC. They deserve to take some heat for that.
RFO:
That's not an RFO. That's the kind of communication that should have been up some hours ago.
Now it seems that the VPS servers are recovering, in small groups.
