1TB file storage 2$/mo. - can anyone find a better offer?
It seems to me that it's too cheap for 1TB, isn't it?
Comments
Yes
Where do you buy this storage good sir?
Well, it's "cloud storage" geared towards easy fileexchange, not a storage VPS or FTP space. It is comparable to wetransfer.com and the likes.
The drawbacks:
web only, no FTP, rsync, webdav or any other standard protocol
no hotlinks
retention: 7 days EDIT: the paid account has unlimited retention
So, it doesn't seem that bad after all. But it is not as versatile as a vps. So I'd say the price is not suspiciously low. Space is also a bit oversold I guess.
It's cheap but useless.
Ask @WSS
Dude is very drunk or having a mental breakdown. 7 days is beyond what is necessary in that case.
You must always be having a mental breakdown then
Cleaned up thread - we really done need a WSS derailment bomb in every thread.
Thanks for the recognition, but I didn't bring Linkhost to the party.

10 euro/year, soft limit 30TB.
Personally, I still dig rsync.net.. it's also available cheaper, but you don't get any hand-holding.
Can I use this like Google drive and backup whole folders / computer- any windows client /rsync support and SSH?
Stack from transip.
1 tb for free.
can provide 1.5 for Tb, but servers in Russian DC. Maybe u far away and upload speed will be not so good.
rsync.net looks good but I've never tried them, their standard prices being a bit high. But I had recently noticed that special offer for 3 cents per GB per month, which is within LET range.
Their website in Ukraine.
My upload speed from Toronto 4MB (32Mbit) (my network allows max upload 35Mbit)
Download speed 180Mbit , it is not bad.
1TB for 1.5$?
Where can I see that offer? Any details?
more details??
With FTP support, I suppose yes.
Will the renewal rates be same as current offer price?
This isn't guaranteed. But you can buy vouchers in advance if this is a concern. (But the normal price isn't bad in light of the space that they allow you.)
I like it. It is really rapid and easy service.
