looking for 12 vCore or more VPS in EU
Hi , I am looking for a crazy custom-made VPS in EU location
12 or more vcore , I don't care model nor frequency , any xeon @ 2000-ish MHz ought do it.
3GB RAM. 2GB is also fine if it needs to cut to make it possible.
30GB SSD preffered, SAS on RAID is also fine.
1 IPv4, IPv6 optional.
DDoS protection optional.
1Gbps fair share is good enough
estimated 50 - 100 GB bandwidth per month.
location: FR UK DE NL IT preferred, but will consider any other EU location.
KVM or any hypervisor that allow to install kernel.
CentOS7 and custom ISO is needed to install plesk ISO
bueget: 10-ish euro/m (vat includ) for 12vcore , 15-ish for 16 vcore.
I know someone will say want that much vcore is suspicious.
I run a opencart site with plesk panel (my own license), with 10-ish UV per day, it's simple task can be very well handled by 1 vcore, as matter of fact I have put it on a 8 core VPS.
the only reason I ask for that much vCore , is I just love to watch multiple CPU bar in HTOP , the more core there is the happier I am, it's just my little obsessive problem, no resource abusing , no mining , no heavy task, nothing illegal, nothing against acceptable usage policy.
this is screenshot for the current usage.
It's pretty much in idle status.
yeah , this sounds crazy, let's see if I can find a crazy provider.
I hesitated many times before post this request , it's long shot , but still wanna try.

i just find
Thanks. But that's over my budget, I don't need that much Ram, and with that budget I will just directly go to dedicate server if in need.
In this case please take a look at Hybrid Servers i.e. V-Dedicated Avoton here - https://www.wishosting.com/order/main/packages/hybrid_servers/?group_id=5
Just submit a ticket and let me know how many vcores you want. Please note that the optimum performance will be in case the vCores count match CPU cores count.
Hmmmm, thank you, I will think about it
That's indeed... Interesting fetish.
lol, can't help myself, maybe I'm gonna need a psychiatrist for it
It's not going to come cheap regardless of whether you need it or not... what's your budget?
10-15 Eur with VAT included
That's a looot of cores for 15eur
Well. I know, but since i don't need that much ram so i wanna if i can get a deal for it.
No, just no.
@qtwrk Why can't you run Plesk on 2-4 cores?
He likes to see 12 cores in htop.
as i said in OP, it can be very well handled by even 1 core, but i just like to see multiple CPU in htop
I've sent you a PM in regards to this, think I can help you out.
Modify htop code and install manually. Why limit to 12 when you can have as many as you want
lol, could you give me a tutorial of how to do it ?
For best result add some function that shows random usage on each core.
Too ridiculous for me to belive.
Fetish on vcores.....brilliant...
I was so happy when getting a 24 (or more, I don't really remember) core VPS from Edis. Cheap, obviously.
Installed a webserver, hit F5 rapidly in a browser while staring at htop, cool.
I'm just not dare to asking such unreasonable spec to a provider, they won't believe me
I had a SparcServer 1000e that would mostly foot the bill here. It had 8 physical CPUs and 2GB RAM. That was pretty fucking big back in the day. Literally- it needed 120v/30A, and made more heat than a portable bathroom heater.
Surprised nobody mentioned HVH yet: You get approximately 4 cores per CPU.
a man after my own heart.
that's why I said in OP that I have hesitated many times before post it .
So basically 24 threads with a limitation of 3GHz total CPU usage would do it ? ^^
Sorted this out for him, can be closed!
damn , watch this is really enjoyable
You know what's even better ? :P
lol , I hate youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
No, this is better!
Debian, thx
